Snowboarding is very hard, UNLESS... you already know how to surf. You use many of the same muscles and manuevers (spelling?). Warning = 4 of the 5 friends I have gone snowboarding w/ have broken their thumbs, fingers, etc. snowboarding - apparently, this is a very common injury when learning. Don't think GW single handedly ruined our economy (but don't think he did much to prevent it either). Most importantly, I feel not only misled but outright lied to about the administration's intention and goals regarding our country's invasion of Iraq. I don't think this country needs a President who is more concerned about his (or his dad's) personal vendettas than he is about the welfare, safety & lives of the American citizens, American soliders and world as a whole. Don't feel bad, I failed (sorry...I mean, "must repeat") AFF3 too. I jumped on 1/17, passed AFF2, went up for AFF3, all going good until...they let me go and I started a slow spin to the right. Instead of correcting it the right way, I turned at my waist and set myself into a spin (which by the way was a lot fun but definitely not what I was supposed to do ). Yes, it sucks but you'll (and I'll) get next time. My biggest problem is that I just have to relax and "feel" the jump. Good luck

I'm a litigation paralegal right now (which can keep you very busy in CA - but not busy enough to keep me from PW on DZ.com ). Don't have kids but I've done all my jump (only 6 ) except 1 w/ my dad. I was actually kinda' freaked to do a jump w/o him. On the last jump I did w/ him, I told him I was going to go for my A. He's definately proud and happy that I've chosen the sky as well (he's a pilot). He even sends me a few bones ($$$) to help w/ the cost. "Excuse me while I kiss the sky..." - Jimi Hendrix

Get the present you want. When I got married (about a 1 yr ago), most of the presents we got were "girly." My husband doesn't get too excited about towels, linens, plates, etc. Not that I do either but most of the gifts that couples get are not only chosen by the woman but usually are going to be of more value to her too. *my dog - and here is where i'll tell you a little story. my dog niko, is really smart. he's 11 now - but still sharp as can be. i've taught him a bunch of tricks over the years - one of which is 'beg'. niko is almost never bad. but if he senses you are upset or mad at him at all, he will walk in front of you and assume the 'beg' position and hold it until you come around. if you turn away from him, he will walk around you to get in front of you and assume the beg position again. he never fails to make me smile.

LMAO. I went to college in Tucson, AZ (very close to Eloy) and had moved from Washington D.C. (which is very humid). I looked like a friggin' lizard for the first few months until I learned the oh so secret to having soft (or normal) skin in AZ....baby oil yourself down in the shower when you're still wet, dry off, and then apply lots of lotion. Did it all through college and it worked. Now live in San Diego, still do the baby oil thing, and my skin is sooooooooooooo soft (just ask my hubby ).
