    The long distance thing didn't work for me...but then again, I was in college surrounded by thousands of willing hotties. The distance was just too much (me in AZ; him in MD). However, long distance relationships where it is only a matter of driving a couple hours to see the person... I could definitely do that - IF I really loved that person (and vice-versa). (Located 4.3 mi West/Northwest of the dropzone.) The report was made 2 hours and 36 minutes ago, at 5:17 A.M. (PST). Wind: The wind was blowing at a speed of 4.6 miles per hour from southwest (220°). Clouds: There were broken clouds at a height of 1200 feet, broken clouds at a height of 1800 feet, and overcast at a height of 2300 feet. Temp: The temperature was 46 °F, with a dew-point at 45 °F. Barometer: The atmospheric pressure was 29.88 inHg. Humidity: The relative humidity was 93.4%. Visibility: The overall visibility was 10.0 miles.     I went to college in Tucson. Although, I didn't jump while in college (no $$$$ ). My friends who didn't have cars would call up the shuttle that takes people to the Phoenix Airport. Apparantly, that same shuttle will drop you at Eloy for half the price (and yes, they have pick-ups to take you back to Tucson too).     I believe your lender is right. My husband & I bought a townhouse in Sept/03 and went through a similar process w/ our loan officer. He would tell us about all these great loans and then, after he would research it, would realize that we would not qualify for the loan for a variety of reasons. We had a horrible experience w/ our loan officer. The best advice I can give is find a loan officer that will WORK for you - it is key to a smooth purchase process.
