I'm on unemployment, but I go to work every day to help Dad keep the company going during this lull in the construction business. I feel guilty about even asking for any days off, even though I don't even get paid. IF you want a change of location... AND can still collect Unemployment, while out of town.. then come here!!! I would Pay you FIVE Times !!!

my work is sorta non conventional... small business. I do most everything... some work is done here at Home / office . And then, i'm on jobsites, as required. I sell and install stairway chair lifts, vertical wheelchair lifts, and build ramps railings , safety items, etc etc... so... I'm almost never off,, since customers can call almost any time...if ANYthing needs attention and they Do.!!! including ChristMas Day... so each day's schedule is different i do Not have this week off.. and AM working, even IF i can be here on the computer at any given moment... sometimes i'm out the door at 8 AM sometimes Not. I work til the days' job is done.. I get plenty of overtime...only do NOT get Paid for it... often the phone will ring at any time, with an addition to my days agenda.. I kinda enjoy the novelty of never knowing WHAT the day might develop into,, until it HAPPENS!!! sometimes i spin my wheels ( unfruitful sales visits and the like ) and accomplish Nothing, in the way of billables . and sometimes i earn hundreds of dollars an hour..

as with many things. it helps to anticipate, react quickly and be decisive. well done. go easy..... go far.

probably not a 1st amendment issue. I saw on the news that he's being charged with interstate trafficking of obscene material. read about this guy a while ago and thought then,,,,, that his "instruction manual" was lame, and wrong and a perfect example , that ANYone, can "self Publish" just about anything... have been wondering about that as well.... we think 11 or 12 inches of SNOW,, is an issue, and you folks are getting that much rain....Yikes.. the news said 17 FEET of snow in the Sierras!!!... OMG. How do you handle THAT?? i seem to recall reading, years ago , that lake Elsinore rose to the point of impacting the DZ there.... am Hoping,,, for sure. that this system ends. and soon... hell,, send it east... we'll take some of it's fury....... in order to spare YOU. good luck jt

we've had significant snow On the ground now for over a week.. it's a bit earlier than we'd like..and there are snowbanks EVERYwhere and snow covered roads. maybe 2 feet, over the past 10 days.. It's snows every day.... "lake effect".... While The Great Lakes offer excellent advantages during the summer, ( fishing, sailing, boating, etc. ) once the arctic air from up north of us, starts sliding south , It picks up the moisture from the warmer water, turns it into snow flakes, and DUMPS it on the terrain which is within 20 or 30 miles of the shoreline...there are places 30 miles south of us, that have NO snow on the ground.....just a matter of location... we live with it.... and manage. A front wheel drive car CAN handle snow very well... better than a rear wheel drive.. That has been my experience, anyway... the weight of the engine on the drive wheels seems to help.... drive carefully, allow more stoppping distance, carry a blanket, small snow shovel, nutrition bars, water, flashlight and extra gloves... good luck... jt

I GET IT!!!!! what you're saying..... and saying and saying..... that "world-wide" recommendations vary!!!! well THAT's no surprise... it's a big world with terrific variety... basically "when in Rome, Do as the Romans" would seem to apply... BUT in terms of the topic of skydivers flying a camera.... you DO seem to be tooooo strongly endorsing ... Bare Minimums as they apply to Jump #s.... Ok fine.. Thanks for bringing to our collective attention,,, just what the details are....in NZ, in Canada, In EU as i click on your profile,,, and assume it to be accurate... Your terrific jumps #'s in a relatively short number of years... do mark you, as having quite an exceptional pace , as opposed to the median, and average numbers which many jumpers can manage.. SO maybe, Just maybe. you have a skewed concept of what MOST other jumpers are capable of doing.... As stated by many, it is SO much MORE than some random number,,, be that number 100, or 50 or 200 OR 1,000....... perhaps not alll jumpers progress as fast as you have... ( and i applaud you and envy you for averaging almost 1,000 jumps a YEAR!!!!! ) but for the general "weekend warrior' skydiver, who builds his or her freefall time in minutes, and NOT hours,,,, SO much needs to be experienced, absorbed, understood, and LEarned !!! prior to taking a HUGE part of the jumpers mental focus, and designating it to a camera.... Often Other aspects of the skydive from gearing Up all the way through safely landing,,, can unintentionally suffer,, as the jumper complicates things with ANY type of camera.... So can we sorta agree that numbers are Different in different places, and leave it at that..??? Where we would really be making a mistake is to interpret ANY numerical milestone,,, as Automatically conferring on ALL jumpers, some magical "abilty" to now fly a camera... I had 1,725 jumps when i made my # 1 video camera jump....it was 1995.. but you don't hear me tellin' You or anyone else that THAT should be the benchmark.. Common sense on the dropzone, Second Nature Flying abilities, level headed decision making, and strict attention to skydiving gear ANd camera gear... seem to me, to be the foundations upon which safe camera flyers are built..and Not some amount of pages,,,,, turned in a log book... peace jmy

does it use a PVC inlet pipe, for air intake and a PVC exhaust Line?? That outlet vent can collect water... if it lays horizontally for any length as it runs to the outside of the house..i suppose that the inlet can , as well... check to see if that line is sagging at all. The water condenses from the vapor that is in the output air... lays in the pipe, and sort of "airlocks the exhaust line".. If the unit does not sense clear flow for Carbon Monoxide exhaust.. it could be designed NOT to fire... safety feature...

ok... so i watched the clip(s)... did not see any indication of the Date of each... "meet & greet".... so i will Guess...... the part with Bush.. was "Early on" in the war (s).. when The Rah Rah was still high.. when those troops were optimistic and Gung Ho, and had not yet seen lots of their comrades killed and / or maimed.... and so the applause was Thunderous....yet perhaps Unwarranted, ( imo) And the part with Obama was "Later on"... when the conflicts had been long and drawn out... with much death & destruction experienced and witnessed.....and well after GWBs' delaration of..."mission accomplished " which it was NOT.... and so the applause for the man who Inherited the Mess......was sedate and muted.....Perfectly Understandable... Unless the commander in chief is out there.. slogging it out , in the REAL trenches of W A R .... ANY cheering and accolades, should be kept to a low level...and reserved for airport lobbies where veterans are returning to their friends and families.... I have "No dog in this fight".. and while i support the troops and ALL those enlistees and National GuardsMen and Women who have been dedicated to "carrying out the will of the Government " i neither agree with , nor encourage that will... i voted for Neither of these men.... and i voted for Neither of their opponents in those respective elections... since NONE of the candidates struck me as anything other than self serving Politicians.....I have NEVER missed an election day in almost 40 years. But will NOT vote in EVERY category on the ballot, unless i truly accept and agree with a candidates platform.. I do vote in the case of congress people, senators , judges, and governors, and on the occasional proposition. But until the American public is offered a candidate for President with MUCH greater dedication, common sense , plain old BrainPower,,, and adherance to the will "of the people " "by the peole" and " for the people"... i reserve my vote, as a muted protest..
