Roger THAT !!! Vixen But here is a FACT... If I witness a collision in freefall, ( and i am quite attentive to what is going on in freefall) then I will chase... and Chase hard,, to get to either of your handles....... I will bust my pull altitude to get to you, or anyone,, if I am closing in on them... If I know for a fact,, that you are "unarmed",, I might push til MY cypress fires.... If you are out of it,, and "armed" your reserve firing,, would have me pulling silver.... ( I 'd stay away from my main handle altogether).... so now 2 people are down and dirty......lets avoid all of these scenarios,, entirely... just say NO to collisions!!! Life is a freefall Enjoy... ???... Freefall IS life!!!!! enjoy!!!.....enjoy it today,, and be around to enjoy it next week... : - ) jmy

.... ... which is possible,,,,,, but not real likely, Just happened in DeLand about amth ago. __________________________________________________ .... like I said,,,, It's possible......... Chris

.. If you enter cypress firing altitude and are to stunned to pull.... you will die in 4 seconds.... if a cypress cuts your reserve loop,,,the result SHOULD be an open, wing, flying at half brakes........ BUT now you have time..... and you are not dead...If the opening shock can "bring you back to your senses", you may be able to land ok..You will have 45 to 60 seconds in which to "wake up. and Even . IF you stay,, "out of it",,, are you Assuming that the resultant landing will Paralyze You!!!!!!!..?????.. ..... MAYBE there is a chance of that,,,maybe,,, but maybe you will have a guardian angel who lets you set down in a wide open area,,,or maybe allows you landing to be quite survivable or maybe you skydive with people who are ALERT,,, and somebody chases you, or while under canopy,, gets down to you,,, maybe docks on you,, maybe steers you home safely... ..... I will give you the benefit of the doubt,,, that maybe you mean the paralyzation OCCURS

Jimmy, you gotta post a picture of your setup. I've read it described as ten grand worth of gear on a $10 hockey helmet or something similar. I thought my BatRack with the 10D and the 550EX up top with the PC120 on the side was pretty Borg-ish, but I think your stuff will win Ok Bro' here you go......... jpegs attached.... jimmytavino A 3914 D12122 USPA # 9452

jimmytavino replied to Deuce's topic in Photography and Video
...yet another exit.."foiled" by the King Air's big time airspeed,,, at climbout.......do you think the stitching might have held??? if you were goin' out of an otter????........ a good reason to do a pre flight check of your suit,,,, as well as your rig.....and camera helmet... ..Partial refund,, maybe.. but remember,,, it should be about the skydive experience,,, NOT the video.. The video is just the cherry on top of the ice cream sundae.... but certainly NOT the primary reason to make a jump... -
Always love Days of Future Past and Search For the Lost Chord, still do, though their later stuff never appealed for some reason. Re your poll I distinctly recall watching all the bright blue hieroglyphics tumbling out of my friend Barry's stereo speakers in his basement during the "House of Four Doors" on the Lost Chord album. Finally bought the CD the day Timothy Leary died.

You might be..... he sounds like he might be a product of the "M TV" generation,,,... you know " carry on,, do what you want. show off," and also of the World Wide Wrestling "phenomena" ....... slamming people around, bear hugging a person he hardly knows,,,, disrespect to women,,,,( that Damn WWW has gone way over the edge,,, in it's recent ways regarding women.....) talk about objectifying them,,, and in an atmosphere of violence, physical brutality and overt sexuality... what the hell do artificiall breasts, have to do with ANY "sporting event" ? The guy sounds like a Johnny Knoxville disciple...... the art/ lifestyle/sport of skydiving doesn't need to deal with such juveniles.... the sad thing is.... He probably doesn't even "get it"..... What are his skydiving abilities like?????...... Natural selction is at work here,,, don't interfere with it..... or you may wind up regretting it........

"they were in a big hurry to re pack the tandem rigs" from your first post... "what causes tension knots" ? from your later post.... ..........IT could be hasty packing... but it also could be other things... your TM did well to stay with his decision ,, and safely land you both.......... interesting experience.... How did the skydive part of the jump go????? -
