  1. If you're going to be in pain, it should at least be over someone who is worth it. If you're in pain over a liar, cheat, etc, then that just sucks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, he was/is worth it. I wouldn't trade the past 2 years for anything. As for the liars and the cheats and the etc., they get nothing but a refresher course from that other thread 'Where to Hide the Bodies' ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  2. I have a problem with rule #1~~~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  3. "I know the reason I feel so blessed, My Heart still splashes inside my chest, Its like a top, it never stops, And it moves on...." -Paul Simon) Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  4. Thats so sad, Tink....I hope that you finally find closure. I'm sure there is another good man out there for you but if you make him measure up to your lost love, he may not even want to TRY to compete. Bless your heart. ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  5. Instead of loving and losing, why not save yourself for "the perfect one" who will make your life perfect and never-ever hurt you? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't think God dates.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!

    True Lies

I'll grant you that...but as a woman, I thought that she playing the mousy-housewife then made to portray an instant-hooker (what do you add??? hot water???) type is funny. You're entilted to your opinion, and as a woman I will say she was HOT till she fell on the floor...HYSTERICAL, even the Governoator dropped his tape recorder~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  7. Another spill-over from the Women's Forum and my own Private-Idaho...once I break up with a guy I see them 'different' and can't 'repeat'. I'm friends with MOST of my exes (cept the hubby)... but really... Personally, I feel its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all...THEN if they try to say 'oops' and come back... you burn down their village~~April P.S. BLEAH!!! True Lies

My favorite line in that is the guy that is translating the instructions for Jaime's strip tease..he turns the recorder off and says in French: this is shit! (I got it and I don't speak French!) Its a real fun movie....I need something good to look at. Its gray out and it suits my mood...April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  9. I had an epidural when I was in labor with my youngest son. Basically its the same as a spinal tap but they leave the line in to deliver pain killers. It wasn't TOO bad. I think the thought of what the HELL they were getting ready to put in me made me co-operate and not get all weird about it. Knowing that quite a few were the 'guinea pigs' for that procedure as well as others, yes, I give thanks to them. You will be helping. Its really up to you, but my vote is for 'the good of science', do it.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  10. What Slug and BabaLouie said... I was going thru a very rough period and told a friend of mine that I felt like the world was against me. He told me 'get real, the world doesn't care about YOU...YOU have to care about YOU. The only one against YOU is YOU.' It may read kind of harsh, but what he was telling me was that I can do anything I want to. Its all up to me. We ALL have bad times, some of those bad spells last longer than others, but that is just life. If I can get one good day out of a year and remember what I did to get that good day (its usually something I MADE happen, not just something that falls from the sky) it gives me the motivation to keep pushing it and see how many other good days I can get
  11. Hip hop culture - it's all about the bitches, the bling bling, the crime and the clothes and the attitude. It used to be real and passionate with a true message. Now it sends a message that the only way to the bling bling is the crime and attitude. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I remember 'Rappers Delight' and how witty and cool that song was. Now its 'bangin' on the bathroom floor' and lying about it. What a nice message. Its crossed over so much, there's a counter-culture in Japan that idolizes it. There are university-level classes analyzing this as the 'new poet society'. I have no problem with that..I have a problem with 6 year olds 'poppin' it' (its a dance..you've all seen them on the videos if you don't do it yourself). But this has been a generational problem since the beginning of time. Remember the controversy of 'ooga-shakala laka' in the Hooked on Believing song (I hate that damned song....)....but 'parents' thought that was a dirty chant. What kind of sex are THEY having?? (sounds like fun!) One song that has ALWAYS troubled me--Alone Again, Naturally (Nillson(sp?))...I wanna hurt myself when I hear that song. Geeze! Give that guy a straight jacket ASAP. Either that or a flippin' bus ticket to a new town. Just thinking about it bums me out~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  12. You can also go to mail options and set your security level for HIGH...then whatever creeps in you can block their .com and sooner or later they will go away. The 'high' security level will throw stuff into your junk mailbox but the blocker is fairly decent. Yahoo gets less crap but they have an automatic Bulk Mail feature that is usually full o' junk. Happy mailing. ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  13. To tell you the truth, I am shocked...I have never heard a male openly admit to liking a Neil Diamond song... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My brother liked the Eagles which wasn't really odd to me till I saw The Big Lebowski (the black cabdriver throws Lebowski out for laughing at his Eagles music). He also LOVED ABBA...now THAT bothered me. He sang 'Fernando' when he wanted to get on my nerves.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  14. It closes on its own if you don't open in after maybe 2 weeks. It 'may' be a month. Just don't open it and it will go away~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  15. So explain why they're like 1/2 the size of a "real" donut?!? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Cause they have twice the flavor. Nyah!~~KK's Rule~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  16. LOL...it looks like you and me and CCR, Michele. You can plug them in anytime and feel better and anything of theirs makes for great driving music~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  17. http://www.ircuser.org/files/monkey.swf There ya go...~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  18. Geeesh! Just when I thought I'd never see THAT again ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  19. My son was in Kindergarten and learned the National Anthem...He put his little hand over his heart and sang heartily till he got to this part: "....and when my father died'..... I couldn't help laughing. I'm still laughing.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  20. Go, Jim, Goooooooooooh!!! I really think it rocks and I'm happy for you. ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  21. Geeze! What time is Recess??? I'd say its too friggin' hard. It reads like a middle school question--an AMBITIOUS middle school. I dated a high school algebra teacher and used to help him type up exams. His bonus questions were USUALLY something to take the edge off...some pop culture trivia ...something to make the kids laugh. I loved the answer 'Beatles? Do you mean Beetlejuice?' But when he made a serious bonus question, such as the one you posted, he didn't take off points. Thats a little heavy for a 13 y/o. Me thinks Sierpinski would benefit from a flying wedgie ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  22. Green Olives, my favorite right now are the jalpeno stuffed ones. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never saw them; do they go well with artichokes? I like pepperoncini's.. If ANY of you come up to New York...let me know and we'll have a picnic (as soon as I figure out how to incorporate this all into a meal). ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  23. I'm with you on that...see the post about shopping or good food.~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  24. Hot wings with TONS of ranch dressing to take the sting off. Wanna BURN?? Get some of Tommy's Wings at Aviators in Raeford. I think he just opens a bottle of hot sauce and lets it rip! Now I'm losing it...a sugary treat...Mango Flavored Italian Ice... Shopping or good food. I have enough clothes. Lets go EAT~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
  25. I've never had one. 'They' say its too hard to get to the good part and it takes about 45 minutes to cook them. But yeah, that's right up there with zuccini. Kettle corn, salsa and dip and eggrolls sound like real snacks. Tomorrow I'll go crazy and get a bag of pork rinds... ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
