Older students tend to study harder and your experience in life will benefit you! I was WELL into my 30's when I went back to school and I loved every second of it and it was NOT easy. I just had a chilling thought.... I thought of my aunt..who is about 80 years old if she's a day..and that big-assed car she used to drive with the fins and NO seatbelts or power steering. When she parked she used to ask ME to hold her cig for her (while I was in the front seat sans seatbelt). Whats gone wrong here? Why are our children obese? How come everyone is suing everyone else? Why are people pissed cause gas is almost $2 a gallon but milk is $4 a gallon? (Okay, little kitten, you're getting unleaded on those cheerios tomorrow!) I have lots of memories of Paul and Uncle Bull. Not one memory is bad. Paul took my girl friend skydiving for her graduation present. He asked me to go too, but I chickened out. A couple of folks have PM'd me condolences regarding Paul. I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking that I was a close friend of Pauls. Organ donation is one of the greatest gifts we can leave behind and I am so happy that you have changed our opinion; happy that quite a FEW people have changed their opinions and made a move. I have a really cute thumb ring that says 'Carpe Diem'...its my second one. I lost the first one on a fishing boat, and I was frantic to find it. It was not to be found. After I finished crying about it, my friend asked why would I be so upset over a ring that says 'fish of the day'. April, after finding out someone's sexual history and all, would you really not trust that someone, whom you have had a loving, committed relationship with for 5 years, to be faithful to you? Kim, This is SO upsetting. I had Bill on my mind this afternoon and called him right after dinner and left him a cheery 'how ya doin' buddy' kind of message. He was on my mind ALL day long and I didn't think anything was wrong. I'm just logging on. Thank you for keeping us up to date. I met Paul in Raeford and he IS a very nice man and I'm so sorry that this happened to him. I called Nicole on her cell & left a message then called Bill back and apologized for being so 'chipper'...and I pray that they will ALL come thru this as best they can.
