For my first jump I picked Metallica's "Sad but True" (one of my favorite songs) to go with all the ground footage, interview & ride to altitude. It turned out AWESOME with the editing my video guy did!!! Creed's "Stand Here With Me" was blarin' when we stopped, looked down, then went out the door. I know, I know....Creed. But hey, I chose it for the lyrics. My oldest sister always talked about jumping "someday" but never did before she passed away. That one was for her. Don Don Here's to friends!

Damn!! Thanks for jarring my memory, I recently won some sort of gift certificate from DC101 but I've been so busy I forgot about it & haven't picked it up!! Whenever someone famous dies they have a contest called "He died-You win" where callers are asked trivia questions about that person or related subjects, etc. The person in this case was Ray Charles. I won by correctly answering the question "Who's the famous blind singer best known for the song "Feliz Navidad"? Don Here's to friends!

OMG!!! Under NORMAL circumstances this would be disturbing, but this is what I love about this place...nothing is sacred & nothing is held back!!! Even farts which should have been. Hey Gary, how ya doing? Even though I don't know you, I'm truly sorry to hear of your loss of such a good friend who meant so much to you. It sucks. I know what you are going through right now, believe me. CANCER SUCKS!! I could go on about this for days. Long story short, I watched BOTH of my parents pass away right before my very eyes from cancer. My thoughts are with you & John's family right now!! Don Don Here's to friends!

I bought St. Anger the day it came out because of all the buzz going on about it. It was supposed to be "their best work to date." I had given up on them a long time ago, but thought what the hell. After a few too many beers, recently one of my closest friends told me he presented that very idea to his wife (bring home her hot friend Wendy from work for a 3 way) and after some thought she said "Ok, I'll see if she's game." Well, Wendy said yes. I asked him the same question; how would he respond if SHE told HIM to bring home a male hottie for her. He wasn't sure, but I got the impression he wanted no part of that. Also what if she liked Wendy better than him afterwards??? I'm curious as hell now if it happened & how it went, but it's really none of my business I suppose. Don Don Here's to friends!

Nope, haven't received it. But WTF....since when are you considered a "senior" if you're 40+???? I just got comfortable with "middle aged". Probably a cross between Leroy Parnell (country singer) & Opie Taylor/Ron Howard. But not as bald...well, maybe a little in the front. Reddish blone hair, freckles, etc. I've been called Opie in the past, & Mayberry is ACTUALLY my middle name!! I guess it all ties together. I was gonna use Opie when I joined but it was already taken. Don Here's to friends!

OUCH!!! That looks painful. YEARS ago (85) when I was in the Army stationed in Germany I SEVERELY sprained my left ankle one morning while running. It was 0-dark-thirty, I was hung over like a big dog from the night before, wasn't paying attention & caught the edge of a 6" deep pothole. Down I went, tripped up the rest of the guys behind me as well, we looked like dominoes!! I swear I could see it swell up before my eyes. Damn that hurt, especially a few days later. I feel your pain!! Look on the bright side....now you have lots of time to PW!! Anyways, hope you heal up soon!! See Ya!! Don Don Here's to friends!
