  1. After the pipeline burst. Right there in the headline - "hours after". And in the third paragraph - Flight data showed a P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance plane was over the North Sea at 0003 GMT when Swedish seismologists registered what they later described as a subsea blast southeast of Bornholm Island in the Baltic Sea. The North Sea and the Baltic Sea are not the same sea. The plane wasn't there yet. What did the 3D tracking reveal? I'm assuming it's not that the plane went back in time.

Only problem being that Putin would not be the slightest bit embarrassed about any of that. Russia's economy is staggeringly underdeveloped and they essentially produce nothing to sell to the world except natural resources and stop motion animation. So fighting a war that gives the Russian economy (more precisely the ligarch's under Putin's wing) access to more natural resources and less competition is just business as usual.
  3. Oh yes indeed - the very concise claim that woke is a cult that was 'created by the algorithms'. We definitely all now know exactly what woke people believe and have no further questions. Good thing you were here to help!
  4. Where does he do that? Take a look at the front page of the site you've just linked to and tell me honestly how obvious it is for me to see where he provides sources to support an argument that woke is Marxist? If you can't be bothered to find it then I can't either, and simply revert to the default stance that you have made no effort to make any form of point that requires addressing. You've simply made some un-thought out, unsubstantiated assertions that are plain wrong. But ok, if you're goig to say that Lindsay speaks for you and his site is your argument, here's a paragraph from his top trending article discussing why 'Woke people won't debate you' (the assertion that woke people won't debate is simly taken as axiomatic, by they way. It's not even supported by argument let alone evidence): Fourthly, the Critical Social Justice view sees people who occupy positions of systemic power and privilege and yet who refuse to acknowledge and work to dismantle them, to the full satisfaction of the Critical Social Justice Theorists, to be utterly morally reprehensible. They are racists. They are misogynists. They hate trans people and want to deny their very existence. They are bigots. They are fascists. They are “literal” Nazis. This is absolutely, completely, obviously and very easily provably wrong. It's bullshit. It's fucking laughable. As Bill just explained above, people who occupy positions of power and influence in a system that perpetuates racial injustice or misogyny or whatever are absolutely not necessarily racists or misogynists even if that is the result of the framework they operate in. They just haven't paid attention to what's going on. That is literally why the word 'woke' is used, it's the opposite of being asleep. People who are asleep aren't Nazis. Only people who are actual Nazis are Nazis. So how do you justify making such a ridiculously stupid argument?
  5. It’s no great surprise that when you ‘research’ lots of right wing sources and what they say about woke that you’ll find lots of people saying woke is really bad. Its also very transparently dishonest of you to set up the idea that people won’t address the points when you haven’t actually made any. You’ve just given some vague pointers about where you’ve seen stuff and posted a 30 minute video of some random test rambling on about who knows what. If you haven’t made the point in your own words, you have not provided a point to be argued against. But you’ll obviously just dismiss this as a response from a cult member, and use that as an excuse not to think about what’s being said to you.
  6. Yet you also said it flew a pattern consistent with the release of a particular type of weapon. Do you know what that pattern looks like? Do you know how it differs from a normal surveillance pattern? Do you know how consistent it is with any other types of flight operations?
  7. Nah, there are still enough gullible little people to use. As Lindsay 'I've had enough of this guy, I'm out' Graham said "I'm begging you to donate to Trump's legal fund! if you've only got $20 to send, send it to Trump now!"
  8. On not testifying, for sure. But presenting no witnesses, no case, and swanning around a bunch of golf resorts instead of turning up to sit in court and pay everyone else who had to be there the bare minimum level of respect? God damn! Water off a misogynist’s back.
  9. The Jury has a verdict after less than three hours of deliberation. Given the above, and that Trump not even bothering to turn up may have been seen as a big ‘fuck you’ to the court and the jurors, let’s hope it’s a good sign for Ms Carroll!
  10. I was wondering about what would specifically be classed as an anti submarine missile. I suppose the broad dictionary definition of missile can apply to anything that’s dropped from a plane but I’m assuming he didn’t mean it that way.

Anyway, in good news there are some rumblings now about a European coalition wanting to supply longer range terrain following cruise missiles to be integrated into Ukraine’s Mig 29s. While the Russian Air Force is in general an unreliable, inflexible, undertrained shambles their modern air to air missiles are surprisingly excellent, so it’s very dangerous for the older Ukrainian jets to operate close to the front line. But a 300km range would allow them to target bases, ammo dumps, HQs, staging areas and logistics terminals well inside Crimea and the Donbas as well as front line targets. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/may/09/british-led-coalition-hoping-to-supply-longer-range-missiles-to-ukraine
  12. Haaaaaaahahhahahahaha! What kind of anti submarine missile can the P8 carry, out of interest?

I don’t think he is working for Russia. There’s one very unexpected person who shares a lot of his views and kind of explains how he’s got to where he is - Oliver Stone. Oliver Stone was completely disillusioned by the Vietnam war of the idea that western foreign policy is ever altruistic. He’s a conspiracy theorist, notably with JFK, that again ties in malign CIA foreign policy motivations. He’s then seen the whole Cold War in terms of western aggression designed to feed the military industrial complex. Somewhere that’s fed into the idea that if the west are the bad guys then Russia are maybe not the good guys, but definitely not the bad guys. And then they can start to admire Putin in terms of standing up to the west, and then you can think Putin might not be a bad guy at all. Clearly Slim has gone to a whole new and despicable level with his approval of both Russia’s invasion and the worst of their crimes in the fighting. But when you see how someone like Stone can be lead astray by their (in some senses well founded) distrust of the US, then you can imagine how it’d affect someone so much more impressionable and so much less sharp in Slim.
  14. Right, and we already know he lies about what goes on in her school - unless you believe every single lesson starts with a 15 minute discussion of gender identity? Anyway - he said ‘too many times’ it’s taught using guilt, and no matter how much attention he pays to his daughter’s school that’s only going to tell him whether it’s taught that way one time. And sure, just once might still technically be ‘too many’ but I doubt that was the message he was trying to convey, don’t you?
  15. Did it involve any classes examining how racism is taught in schools? I really fucking doubt it, so again I’d love to hear the research you’ve done on it.
  16. I’d love to hear the research you’ve done on this.
  17. It might, if you’re being incredibly charitable, be about equal rights in principle. But Woke is about equal rights in practice and anti-woke absolutely is not.
  18. Well there’s your mistake. The concept of white privilege is an acknowledgement of the ways society as a whole judges people by the colour of their skin. Woah there buddy! Surely it’s racist to talk about a society being racist? I can’t remember who just told me that, but I think he was named after a character in old English mythology.
  19. Is it really though? When does she say this? Well it might do if it was true, buuuuut…
  20. Isn’t that explicitly the point? Anyway, in which bit does she disagree with MLK?
  21. It’s racist to say it’s racist to talk about racism. A key CRT concept is intersectionality—the way in which different forms of inequality and identity are affected by interconnections of race, class, gender, and disability. See above about CRT. It doesn’t say everything is race based, but it acknowledges how much is affected by race. You could take one single racist legal disparity like the difference in mandatory sentences between crack and powder cocaine, follow all of the effects downstream from that and end up with something that touches half of society. And it’s not racist to study that, it’s racist to say you shouldn’t.

Right, a lovely individual is our Slim. And he clearly doesn’t understand that you don’t actually torture people for information. You torture them so they’ll supply disinformation. “Say what we want you to say or we’ll keep crushing your balls in a vice” is ultimately going to be an effective technique when you try it enough times. So when someone says “we tortured a guy and he says his side is going to do XYZ!” well, that’s how you know that claim XYZ is total bullshit. Again it’s just amazing how intent Slim is on demonstrating his total ignorance of the world.
  23. Oh really? When does she disagree with this?
