  1. So let’s get this straight - you believe the justice system, who need to have a strong enough case to convince a jury, have been unfairly prosecuting people who didn’t trespass in the Capitol on Jan 6th because that’s what everyone system inhabited by political people does. You equally believe that the President, who has unilateral pardon power, has called Jan 6th criminals political prisoners, who has promised to pardon them, who plays their music at his rallies, will ensure that a dedicated impartial team forensically reexamines every minute detail of every Jan 6th case before he makes a decision, and will only pardon those who really should not have been found guilty according to the law as it exists? Im sorry to mix metaphors but did you notice the sides of the rabbit hole coming up past your ears or was this more of a boiling a frog situation? Putin’s speech was recorded and you still won’t admit to misrepresenting that, so I’m not going to hold my breath.
  2. Sure, but then I’ll have to take your bet that no one believes Trump is a rapist. Pay up.
  3. Right, so when you said you’d be appalled if he pardoned anyone with airtight convictions that was bullshit - your opinion will be that anyone who is pardoned deserved to be pardoned and you won’t bother to check. And if anyone takes the time to show you proof, as with the Putin discussion earlier, that will be the exact moment you lose interest in the conversation instead of changing your mind.
  4. At the moment you have no idea if there are any weak cases that have lead to convictions, you have simply decided that there are. So when Trump standard pardoning people, shouldn’t we assume you’ll do the same thing and simply decide that the people he’s pardoning are the ones with weak cases?

    Trump

The Justice Deparment is right now considering weather to request the breaking up of Google/Alphabet as the remedy in an antitrust case, and no-one had to appoint the Insane Clown Posse to make it happen. Of course I read that in the news, so you won't believe me.
  6. Any particular cases that have been prosecuted on poor evidence? CRT is right, then.
  7. Sure - as a one man interest group it certainly benefits Musk to cut out any other corners in the diagram. An iron straight line between him and the government money fountain would be much more ‘efficient’
  8. Sure they are - let me break it down for you. the pipeline goes something like this: tweet/reddit post -> minor blog or podcast "some people are saying" -> blog with more reach reports on "blog x reported today that people are saying" -> authors write books about it as if it is factual. Before these things would be fact checked, today in the post truth environment no-one cares.

  10. Does this mean religion doesn’t say anything about you how should behave?

    Trump

It’s his chosen cryptocurrency which he clearly has a financial interest in. Make America Grift Again. BTW, can you imagine the outrage that would be forthcoming from the right of Harris allowed a campaign donor to buy so much political influence they were included on her phone calls with worlds leaders?

    Trump

A department which isn’t really a department or part of the government - because it would be completely illegal for Musk to work inside the Administration. So why did they call it that? Why, to boost Elon Musk’s identically named cryptocurrency of course. What’s that they say about conflicts of interest - start as you mean to go on?
  13. Lol, Joe goes well out of his way not to like or echo much of what I have to say. But back to the point that you have just very artfully dodged - is there any possible way the Left could show less humility and less willingness to hear what the other side values than the Right did after the last election? They’re still pretending that the people who voted against them don’t even exist, much less need to be listened to
  14. Winsor isn't a liberal. So were most of the Republicans. Trump didn't think he was going to win, that's why he was complaining about rampant election fraud on polling day. And again, is there anything more echo chambery than pretending the people who voted against you simpy don't exist? Ludicrous double standard. Again, the only conservatives posting here before November 5th were quite adamant that this was going to be a single issue election, with people voting for the economy and ignoring everything else. Now you're all saying it's a definitive referendum on every aspect of liberal policy. Further, this is the third time in 36 years that the Reps have won the popular vote and does anyone remember seeing a shred of humility or softening of their positions in that time? No, they just got better at lying to the people and abusing the levers of power to get what they want anyway. For instance, you made up something Putin said about Trump, I showed you the text of the speech to prove it wasn't true, you just decided to stand by what you said and ignore reality. If you want the liberals to learn the lessons of this election that's what you should expect to more of - the left just rampantly making shit up about you and your policies, because apparently that's what works.
  15. Is it a personal attack to say I hate you for making me think about that? [vomit emoji]
  16. Right. As anyone else would have been because it was disgraceful.
  17. Why should I believe anything it says? It's just an amplified Reddit meme, isn't it?
  18. Yeah, that was a disgraceful speech. Any politician on either side who said a fraction of the things he said during that speech would have been buried by the press. He claimed he wasn't talking about the neo-Nazis but also claimed that the people at the rally 'didn't put themselves down as neo-Nazis', which is not true. Well I don't even know where to start with that being an intellectually dishonest statement. Regardless, are Mexicans bringing drugs across the border? Is Heroin made in Mexico? If it is, how do you know?
  19. Indeed, CRT is bullshit, institutional bias doesn't exist, now help us fight the Dems and their 100% rigged justice system!
  20. But your definition of ‘unfairly attacked’ covers anything you simply choose not to believe, with no justification other than ‘because the media said it’. Which Trump has never done either. He’d rather talk about being a whale psychiatrist than ever give an indication that he’s changed his mind on anything. The only thing he’s ever backed away from is abortion, by taking up the dishonest position that anti-abortion laws have nothing to do with him. You’ll be aware of this, since you have also taken an intellectually dishonest stance on the state of abortion laws in the country.
  21. Whenever you want to justify your own position you say this what the dems do, this is what the Reps do, And that matches what you want. Whenever someone makes a counterpoint you say information isn’t real, news doesn’t exist and no one knows anything about anyone. It doesn’t strike me as being very honest.
  22. Or it could have bought Sam Bankman-Freid another house.
  23. Cognitive dissonance is thinking you can't trust anything the media says because it;s just propaganda from Reddit memes, you also can't trust anything Trump and Vance say for the same reason, but that you're also sure you made the right decision and Trump and Vance are the right guys to do what you want done because you know what they're going to do.
  24. It's not as simple as that unfortunately. There are plenty of people who think like that who are out there enticing women into relationships before letting loose with their darker impulses. Malignant narcissists like Andrew Tate who project power and confidence have no trouble attracting women, (more's the pity) and they teach people, kids mostly, how to do the same thing.
  25. Right, you just voted for one. That's fine then.
