I doubt she said it in those words, because that sentence is needlessly convoluted and as a result makes no sense.

Sure, and what you did was to insert an irrelevant topic. How colleges work really has nothing to do with how schools work. I would also note that while you claimed to be trying to get the conversation back on topic, your reply to Phil contained exactly zero words asking anyone to get back on topic. You simply engaged with and continued that irrelevant conversation. Why do you think anyone should agree with you when you're clearly wrong? -
Cool that it was so easy for him to remember the list of things... but he can't remember what the test was called

To be fair, a major factor in that were Stalinist policies unconnected to the war. Deaths from simple executions, in gulags, during forced relocations and due to famine caused by insane agricultural policies during Stalin's reign are estimated around the 20M mark also.

I don't think that being in prison for a signifcant portion of the rest of her life will be good for her wellbeing. While the US system does seem to focus too much on punishment and nowhere near enough on rehabilitation, there is still a point where part of the whole purpose of prison is that you are less well there than you are free. If someone said to me "I wish you well and you should be in prison" I would be quite confused as to what they really meant. Why would you say that?

Why do you need to stand by to be told what to think?

And that the doctors were amazed he passed it.

I’m not sure Swiss neutrality is all it’s cracked up to be. I doubt they’d have been left alone for long during WW2 if the banks hadn’t been such willing Nazi collaborators.

While that is indeed a good way of approaching life there is one small issue in this case - Trump is not the Buddha. When Trump feels he is being slighted he definitely becomes unhappy, which by the logic of the analogy means the critic does not hurt himself.

‘Common’ and ‘mandatory’ are not synonyms. To go to college you have to apply to college? Ok you’ve convinced me, this heavy handed government oppression is simply too much! -
Our new Secret Police and more renditions, lovely

Misleading? No no no, that police officer was uhhh, well he was... he was attacked by Ukrainian democrat plants because he was investigating Hunter Biden! -

According to a 2014 report[2] by the Texas Coalition for Affordable Power (TCAP), "deregulation cost Texans about $22 billion from 2002 to 2012. And residents in the deregulated market pay prices that are considerably higher than those who live in parts of the state that are still regulated. For example, TCAP found that the average consumer living in one of the areas that opted out of deregulation, such as Austin and San Antonio, paid $288 less in 2012 than consumers in the deregulated areas." Woohoo! -
No one needs to wonder that. You've made it clear many times that you have no inclination to research anything. It's always someone else's job.

Right now, sure. But why do you argue that it will stay like that? Progress happens all the time, yet you keep arguing that today will be the same as tomorrow, tomorrow will be the same as the next day, this year will be the same as next year and this decade will be the same as next decade.

lol. Bull fucking shit. Are you just on a mission to descend into a charicature of yourself now?

The reasons why it would be unconnected to Epstein, and the reasons why it wouldn’t make sense that it was connected to Epstein.

And he was a self styled anti-feminist with misogynist incel type views. And he had problems with female lawyers in general, Latino female lawyers in particular, and her specifically. And he’d previously written a manifesto saying the feminist hegemony would only change when men started taking out the women who’d wronged them before offing themselves. But who cares about all that, it must be the Epstein thing really, because come on sheeple!!!!!
-
And ignored it?

OK, so again let's just gloss over the blatant offensiveness at suggesting the dead person being buried is making a spectacle of themself if you don't know the arrangements were made at their direction. If it would be just as bad for Trump to be buried in a gold coffin as Floyd, why did you claim that "social status" was the reason you had a problem with Floyd's coffin? Why did you specifically ask "was he a world leader?" (direct quote) when I asked you why it was a bad thing? Trump is from a silver spoon background and is president of the USA. If social status and political position have any impact on whether someone should be buried in a gold coffin, why would you have a problem if Trump did it? If they don't have any impact, why did you say they did? You're being a bit inconsistent, no? Also, even if we are to believe that you would publically criticise Trump for his funeral choices (he will get a state funeral, by the way), would you then say it reflected badly on the entire conservative movement? Of course not. So you're still being inconsistent.

Funny thing about randomness - there are always patterns in it. But when there's a fairly self evident explanation ready to go it doesn't pay too much to assume those patterns must have deeper meaning. "The suspect was later found dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound near Liberty, New York, multiple law enforcement sources told ABC News. A municipal employee discovered the body in a car. The deceased suspect was an attorney who had a case before Judge Salas in 2015, sources said. A FedEx package addressed to Judge Salas was discovered in the car, sources said." Murder suicide by a disgruntled, probably unstable person with a pre-existing axe to grind. Further, keep in mind that the case before this judge is one level removed from Epstein. The bank's direct connections to Epstein have already been litigated and the bank fined $150M by the financial authorities for their failures to monitor Epstein's corrupt payments using their services. The current lawsuit is about the bank lying to its investors about its conduct with Epstein before they agreed to the settlement. In terms of protecting any information they have on Epstein's accounts from getting out that ship would already have sailed with the previous case.

Not answered. Not even close. If Trump's living room doesn't invalidate his politics - even though they are both driven by his own decisions - why does Floyd's coffin alow you to criticise the entire BLM movement even though his family are only involved in deciding one of those things?
-
You can't just put completely different words in my mouth and claim you've won. Maybe you could see if you're capable of engaging brain for once and responding to what I've actually said. What if it was his funeral? Come on - be honest. Given that you claimed it was racist to make fun of his orange fake tan I can absolutely guarantee that if Trump died and the 'leftists' here criticised any choices his family made at his funeral for being too gaudy you would absolutely, positively lose your shit and be screaming at the top of your voice about all the biased hatred. So I don't really know what else to say except 'gotcha'. If Trump's living room doesn't invalidate his politics why did you bring up Floyd's coffin as a reason to criticise BLM?
-
Lol, put up or shut up. It is you that is on record claiming you defend Trump just because you see other people attacking him. In other words, arguing for the sake of arguing is your MO. Yes indeed. Not only is criticising the decor of a burial in far worse taste than criticising the style of a living room (not to mention describing the loss of a family member as 'winning the lottery), it is also completely irrelevant to the point you making at the time, which was explaining to Wendy why you argue against the BLM movement. What does the colour of Floyd's coffin have to do with the validity of the BLM movement?
-
Ok, lets be consistent. Have I made fun of Trump's taste? Yes. Would I complain about the decor at his funeral? No. I'm not that much of a heartless wanker. And what about the comparison of what they represent? Trump was chosen to be the leader of the country. Is the personality and taste of the person being actively chosen to lead important? Yes, it matters. Is the personality or taste of George Floyd important? No. He's dead, and his family are not BLM leaders and they have no role in setting the agenda of the protest movement that his death catalysed. Is his status as a representative of people unneccesarily killed by the police affected in any way by the decor chosen by his family at his funeral? No. Not at all. In short, I think I'm being completely consistent. But what about you? Did you complain about Trump's decor when it was a topic of conversation? Did you say that you thought it invalidated any part of his politics or his administration? Because if not, you are clearly being inconsistent.
