Also since Ron always claims (when a Dem is in power) to be opposed to the politics of division, I think he’ll appreciate this assessment from Anthony Scaramucchi: “Donald Trump has become a great unifying figure in the United States. We just happen to all be unifying against him. “In my 57 years here on planet Earth, I cannot recall a singular moment where I agreed with Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and Joe Biden at the same time, but I did that today and I attribute that to the actions of Donald Trump." (I remain constantly amazed that of all Trump’s former appointees and advisors ‘The Mooch!’ seems the most clear eyed and open about not just Trump’s failings, but his own culpability in choosing to work with him. Don’t know if that says more about him or them.)

And how many of them voted NOT to oppose seating their congressional colleagues from the same ballots when Chip Roy brought it up the other day? All but two were two faced weasels, I believe.
-
Of course it does. For everyone else it just highlights what a slimy, two faced little toad he is. He has the gall to talk about shared respect for the system?

Zero evidence was stated that fraud did in fact happen. Stating that there is evidence is not the same as stating evidence. Not even close.

Maybe, but this is a much more 1933 vibe. BBC reporting it's confirmed that shots have been fired inside the building, and have shown photos of the legislative chamber door barricaded from the inside with multiple guards pointing their guns at the door and the protesters on the other side. I keep remembering the Rs who (for some reason) complained that Obama's presidency had made America a global laughing stock, and Trump would bring them respect again. Well guess what the globe is thinking now!

What a nice guy. After weeks and weeks of pushing Trump's insane election fraud theories, after weeks and weeks of stoking the hopes of the herds of idiots currently descending on the Capitol that there was a real route for Trump to still win the election in Congress by refusing to clarify his role, he finally realises just minutes before the session commenced that it would be a good idea to say that he was going to respect the results of a democratic election. What a gosh darn stand up guy he is.
-
Yeah sure. Because tomorrow is always the same as today, and next year is always the same as this year.
-
IIRC Westerley has kept telling us Trump is irrelevant and his attempts at insurrection weren't even worth talking about - so I'm sure this is just a lot of fuss about nothing
-
What do you think is going to happen? Why will it be historic?
-
It started with "I would like you to us a favour though" and it ends with "I just want to find 11,780 votes". It might be poetic if it wasn't all so rotten.
-
Ah yes, Schrodinger's immigrant. The guy sneaking across the border planning to steal your job by being a lazy welfare bum.
-
And as if by magic, Trumpists who have been silent for 4 years of spending like a sailor on shore leaving suddenly care about the deficit again.
-
No-one cares why you hate Canada. Kinda do want to know why anything in this thread makes you think people hate America though.
-
So now we've established that your dad is bigger than Gowlerk's dad, perhaps you could answer the question?
-
What makes it seem that way?
-
If you have to be told, you won't get it anyway.
-
And there has for sure never been a liberal president.

Is Donald trump Trying to Lose the Georgia Senate Election?
jakee replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
He’s not trying to lose the Georgia Senate race, because he doesn’t care who wins the Senate race. Republicans are just starting to find out what everyone else already knew - that Trump has absolutely no interest in anything that doesn’t directly benefit him personally, and that includes the future success and power of the GOP if he’s not at the head of it. Pursuing a personal grudge against a couple of individual Rs is important to him, and whether that helps or hinders the party as a whole is not even a consideration. -
Pretending that what is happening now is normal beltway corruption is a false equivalence. Trump continues to inspire a majority of the nationally elected members of a major party to take part in an attempted coup. That is new news.

So far, President Trump has been the loudest voice demanding PC behaviour. He's called for people to be fired and companies to be boycotted for participating in or allowing un-PC actions. He's basically a leader of the cancel culture.

Is that what the scientists who discovered it say?

One of the films I’d consider a perfect movie. Every scene, every line, every shot. It all works.
-
Why don't you believe what it says?
-
I'm confused about why you're not telling the truth. Or if you are telling the truth, why it matters whether or not we are fallen.

Thank you. I hope you enjoyed the day and have a happy new year too.
