  1. Yes, you'll be glad to know that we do! In fact only a few months after your post we held the second World Wind Tunnel Competition. Today, almost 2 years after your post we have had several competitions and much development, in fact, my entire life revolves around tunnels, much like most of yours revolve around skydiving! Many of us would rather fly in the tunnel than make a jump, some of us like to do both. BUT, the tunnel is a sport in itself, we don't want it confused with skydiving any more than you do. We've been flying in tunnels almost as long as we've been parachuting for fun... so they both deserve their credit.
  2. Nicely put. and Thank You for being in the army
  3. 1lb ground sirloin 1/2 c finely chopped onion 1/2 c finely chopped bell pepper diced garlic 2 cloves Season salt everywhere!! little raw egg, and some bread crumbs, not much... shape it and grill it!! AWESOME!!! oh yea, splash of Heinz57 before making the patty
  4. If you want to go to that one, we'll have to set you up there, it won't be open to the general public for some time. We are mid-testing phase on it and are shopping for insurance, but we expect to have a big party and grand opening sometime in spring. Anyone who wan't to go, let us know!!! Kids are encouraged of course!!!
  5. We're only an hour away, perhaps we can meet you there.... we'd love to help usher her or any of the youngins into the sport, and usually a little flyin buddy helps the whole process! John is great with the kids and certainly the most experienced at it!! Let us know when your coming...
  6. I talked with the owner about that project, the one in Trenton... they are having a delay, and haven't acquired the unit yet... they are hoping for later this year...
  7. Excellent! I hope we will have the pleasure of ushering them into the tunnel world! Let us know, we'll meet you somewhere!
  8. Mine isn't so little anymore either, but I couldn't be more proud..here is my "Little Wing" with her daddy.
  9. 1979 Lemans just like the picture.... it was awesome!!! I totaled it though, curvy road, pitch dark & an overconfident teen behind the wheel; 45 mph head on into a ditch, flipped it around and hit it again on the side, 7 people inside, noone was hurt, we all walked away from it!! They sure don't make cars like that anymore! Edited: it was so totalled that the local fire department used it for "jaws of life" practice for the newbies! .
  10. Bob's tunnel? No we're bringin Adren-l-n, currently in Texas. If you mean Bob, as in greensburg Bob, the tunnel was moved from the DZ and sold in the past summer. We've spoken with Don already so we're good to go... pm me and tell me what you need..we're working on artwork and press releases now... Thanks so much!!!
  11. as posted on bodyflight.net 1/16/04 SkyVenture UK suffers another delay Although reportedly "Under Construction" at the Skyventure.com website, the UK SkyVenture construction will be delayed once again. Although talks of purchasing a SkyVenture facility began in late 2002 early 2003, there has been no finalization of construction plans at this time. There has been a delay in acquiring the needed funds for this project even though they have opened the investing to all UK Skydivers and have a wide base of initial investors, they are still unable to go forth with this project. Nearby in Bedford, a former MOD spin tunnel is getting a major mechanical overhaul and will be operational to the public and skydivers in 2004. This 16ft tunnel will certainly be unique and maybe giving SkyVenture UK a run for it's money before either of them are even complete! We have not confirmed yet wether the SkyVenture UK project will be completed, but since SkyVenture deposits are non-refundable, I think they just might be stuck with one.
  12. skyejumper, I have been flying in wind tunnels since 1997, I have 5 diffent tunnels under my wings and am putting a 6th on the list in the next couple of months. Are tunnels useful? Ask my aff instructor Don Krouger, or maybe my recurrency instructors Joao Tambor or mayb Nick Sclafani.. yes it helps tremendously, if you choose to learn from it. If you want to know about ALL the wind tunnels, just ask us!! We'll be happy to help. I just did an interview for the L.A. Times a couple of weeks ago... Writer hits the fan -- and no splat Otherwise visit our network of websites, we track them ALL!!

My 9 year old loves hers,, she wears those crazy physchodellic fimo rounds and tube beads!! Makes her look GROOVY!!
  15. Hello, perhaps you will be at this years WFFC 04? If so we will be hosting Bodyflight University Training Camps and you can get your tunnel time there. John Suiter & his staff will be taking students into the tunnel for rw/ff and basic training. The tunnel we are bringing, is fast, big and has Lexan walls for those of you who arent' intersted in a tuck & roll. Bring your jumpsuit and send us an email, we'll schedule you some time and hey, your at least close to home!!!
  16. better late than never, huh? If you want to buy any kind of tunnel, portable or otherwise, your only contact should be John Suiter. If you want portable or stationary either way...and please before building or buying any tunnel, check out all your options on
  17. I work so hard for folks just like you... If you want to know about wind tunnels, just ask the experts... Visit any of our sites for anything you want to know... oh and by the way... 18. Hi Arlo, Well, as you probably already know, John is available for coaching 'in the area'. We are only located an hour from Orlando. Also, Joao, Julia & Fabian are great coaches, we love working with them for sure! If you want time with John, you can contact us direct or ask any of those guys, they'll set you up with him. oh, forever, means that John helped to build the first vertical wind tunnel in the US over 20 years ago and hasn't stopped since. You can read more about his 'qualifications' on any of our websites...
  19. Hi AggieDave, again! Skywhuffo was right about ADREN-L-N. Unfortunately you seem to have visited during a re-structuring phase. It's super fast, and really, if you can't fly in your ffsuit or rwsuit, let us know, we will come all the way to Conroe to help you out with that. By we, I mean, my husband, John Suiter and I. And, btw, skywhuffo, your right, we did sell it to the guys in Conroe!! Good to see you on the message boards here...
  20. You couldn't turn points doing 2 way? I wonder WHY you couldn't do 2 way in that tunnel? If you will be a the WFFC, perhaps we can help you out with that. That's the biggest, fastest portable tunnel and the only one with lexan walls. We'll be renting it out by the 1/4 hour and 1/2 hour at the convention to qualified instructors for their students and for team practice. If your interested email me for prices dawnsuiter@bodyflight.net Anyway, there are over 30 tunnels listed at our site and an authoritave resource on the WORLD WIDE industry. The industry is MUCH larger than you might think.....
  21. AHEM!! (clearing my throat to be noticed)
  22. Reality Check guys... We are ALL dying We are ALL breathing the same air We are ALL in danger of every disease, ailment, virus, infection and addiction known to man, and some that arent. I wonder how your sister feels about you jumping from an airplane... does she worry about your health? Might one of our loved ones get really pissed off because they see someone taking extra chances with their life... Just wanted to point out how oddly similar the two things are....
  23. Tami, Your right, your site ROCKS!! I had a blast doing all of it!! Thanks for the big PLUG!! dawnsuiter@bodyflight.net
