  8. My Alti-2 is from the 70's and works great both as an altimeter and as a barometer. When its home, it sits on my kitchen table and I get to see what happens with the air pressure every day. If it didn't go up and down with air pressure that's when I would be worried about it.
  9. Please cite the specific regulation. I found this: --- 65.133 Seal. Each certificated parachute rigger must have a seal with an identifying mark prescribed by the Administrator, and a seal press. After packing a parachute he shall seal the pack with his seal in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation for that type of parachute. --- "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  12. Probably not what you are looking for but you can go here: http://krheinwald.jumplog.net/ Click on Jump 2834 and when looking at that jump click on Track 2834, it will open Google Earth You'll get to see when Klaus took off, the flight path of the plane, his path during freefall as well as under canopy... right to where he landed. 13. Pretty common to send a rig to a trusted third party (DZO/Rigger) for inspection prior to a sale before money changes hands. Would you buy a used rig, from someone you don't know, without having it inspected prior to purchase? Sort of like taking a used car to a mechanic for a check before purchase. 25. My best suggestion: Think less, jump more My marriage was over long before I got divorced and it a couple of years after that before I really was interested in a relationship. Give yourself time. When it comes to meeting women, jumping more is a good thing. Someone who is having fun is more fun to be with. As for knowing who you are... give that quest the heave ho. I figure I'll know who I am about 10 minutes before I die of old age. There are things to worry about, but they are pretty damn few.
