One more place to talk about conspiracies? Have you checked into the Kennedy assignation or the World Trade Towers? "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Yup lead is soft, but close reading of the report says its a steel ball. "This looks like a small steel ball, as used in ‘shot bags’" "Picture 6:steel ball" "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy -

My Alti-2 is from the 70's and works great both as an altimeter and as a barometer. When its home, it sits on my kitchen table and I get to see what happens with the air pressure every day. If it didn't go up and down with air pressure that's when I would be worried about it.

Please cite the specific regulation. I found this: --- 65.133 Seal. Each certificated parachute rigger must have a seal with an identifying mark prescribed by the Administrator, and a seal press. After packing a parachute he shall seal the pack with his seal in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation for that type of parachute. --- "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Are you not afraid of what it will do to the environment? Its plastic! At least lead comes from the earth and we are just returning it to its roots when a lead seal falls to the ground! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Probably not what you are looking for but you can go here: http://krheinwald.jumplog.net/ Click on Jump 2834 and when looking at that jump click on Track 2834, it will open Google Earth You'll get to see when Klaus took off, the flight path of the plane, his path during freefall as well as under canopy... right to where he landed. Paralog is cool ! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Pretty common to send a rig to a trusted third party (DZO/Rigger) for inspection prior to a sale before money changes hands. Would you buy a used rig, from someone you don't know, without having it inspected prior to purchase? Sort of like taking a used car to a mechanic for a check before purchase. Another good source... not as well know in the USA because its Canadian manufacturer. They are very flexible and easy to deal with. By example, want your suit tie-dyed and made from Hemp? http://www.gocrazyman.com/ "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy -
Not sure if this is any use to you. There is a "Contact" section: http://www.aerazur.com/en/parachute-and-protection/sport-parachutes.html "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

I am at a loss as to why this whole thread is in Skydiving: Safety and Training: What has this got to do with Skydiving? Should it not be in SC? "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

My best suggestion: Think less, jump more My marriage was over long before I got divorced and it a couple of years after that before I really was interested in a relationship. Give yourself time. When it comes to meeting women, jumping more is a good thing. Someone who is having fun is more fun to be with. As for knowing who you are... give that quest the heave ho. I figure I'll know who I am about 10 minutes before I die of old age. There are things to worry about, but they are pretty damn few.
