  1. Bachelours in Mathematics (Rutgers 1997) Associates in Psychology (Bergen Community 1995). By the way I was a Psych major because I wanted to find a way to make easy money charging a tremendous amount of money as a Psychologist. But I left psychology because I came the realization that the field was mostly a bunch of liberal B.S. It is totally controlled, meaningless babble. I recall one time reading in a psych book that as researchers we had to be responsible and therefore not make experiments that might give racists amunition. For an example we can't research facts that correlate violence with race. It shouldn't be called Psychology it should be called excuses for liberals. Meanwhile Math being the holy field of facts that it is, with no room for Babara Streisand, was obviously my calling in life. So I went in that direction and got my Bachelours in Math. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  2. Am I to infer that you agree with the judgement and do not, in fact, find the plaintiffs whiney and litigous, and further, that you found my post to be in such vehement disageement with the case and its outcome that I wish the above-quoted fate on the plaintiffs and their lawyers? Or were you being serious? --------------------------- I thought it was pretty clever in this age of stupid law suits. It was a guaranteed money maker since they were indeed breaking the law. But on a moral standpoint I am against law suits in general with the exception of a case where a law suit was truely jusitfied like innaccurate slander or an untrue statement leading to defamation of character. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  3. This is a very interesting topic. I am not sure what my opinion is on the matter but that is strictly due to convienience. See the way I figure if I went to a club with a girl the fact that she might not have to pay a cover charge will save me money so I like that, The arguement about women having to pay more for a a haircut is a crock. They know very clearly that there hair requires much more time and attention. Meanwhile men will spend more money on liquor at the club (as long as we are not talking about me) so that goes against reasons for them paying more to get in. Now I am well aware of the true motives behind this and that is simply to attract men to the club by packing it with women, which is fine. I am all for making an environment at a club which appears pleansant to the average man that will spend the most money at the club. But hey we should not stop there. Lets allow the attractive women to get in for free, ugly ones pay full price, 18-25 males {you know the idiot troublemaker age} charge them 50% more, transvestites charge them full price, flaming homosexuals full price for the first 5 after the 5th one gets in, start charging them double, drugged up little punk send him down the street, tell him the club is full. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  4. Yeah.....and I have been in 125F in New Mexico and 130F some in the Kuwait desert. Hmmm...that's why I don't live any of those places. ------------------------------------------------ I agree for I grew up in the NYC area where the temperature rarely goes over 90 (even in the unpleasant heat of summer). But Spain should not be placed in the same category with these other cities that resmble a version of hell in the form of an oven. No Spain is a paradise and is the envy of the entire Northern section of Europe. For the weather of Germany, England, Holland and all of Scandinavia sucks, royally! Ask anybody from there, how many jumps a year they can make? If I had to live in Europe you can be certain that Spain is where I would go. Besides the best weather, they have the best food and the Freindliest people (as long as you don't offend paradise). If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 5. Uhhh...that's pretty close to as hot as it gets ANYWHERE. Dude...there's a reason they call it "Death Valley" --------------------------------------------------- I don't know about that. Thats about as hot as it can get in Texas. But it gets consistently hotter than that in El Azizia, Libya, Tirat Tsvi, Israel, Cloncurry, Queensland, Rivadavia, Argentina, Phoenix or Las Vegas. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  6. Geez! 40C is 104F and 45C is 113F!!! It's at least dry right? Or are you in humidity hell? Nice pics...I like the bell tower in your Aug 3 file... ---------------------------------------------- Its not that hot all the time and that is just this time of year. Besides 45 is pretty close to the hottest it ever gets there anyway. The highest temperature in Europe ever was, (Seville, Spain Aug. 4, 1881 122F 50C). Which is significantly less than the hottest North American temperature in the (U.S. Death Valley, Calif. July 10, 1913 134F 57C). If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 7. this article was on my msn today. As I read it seemed like yeah of course I know that but when this came u with the statistics I just had to laugh about it anyway here it is. ==================================== Because of society’s double standard, Fisher said, women are hesitant to report their true sexual desires. In one study, she asked men and women to report whether they masturbated, watched soft-core pornography or hard-core pornography. Each “yes” got a point. She found, on average, that men scored 2.32 and women 0.89. But she also found that women’s scores changed depending on how confident they were of remaining anonymous. In the study, both men and women had been told to hand their questionnaires to a researcher. But when women were told to deposit their answers in a locked box supervised by a researcher, their average score jumped to 1.53. And when the women took the test alone in a locked room and then deposited their answers in a locked box — ensuring privacy and anonymity — their score shot up further, to 2.04. The men’s answers did not change significantly, indicating they were less concerned about their opinions being discovered. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 8. And just how do you find out if you have the "required" skills before hand? Every year we loose 10/12 jumpers who thought they had the "required" skills. Reserves are 7 sells remember? Sparky ------------------------------------- well for one thing I have landed it three times and had no problems with it. But besides that I think its safe to say that you should be able to handle a reserve more than double the size of your main. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 9. I have flown a pd 113 loaded at about 2.0. Without a head wind it lands like shit but its not something to worry about if you have the required skills. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 11. You just said that a conical with the same DRAG has less SURFACE.... So I would think that if you had the same base size say 12"X 12" and one was flat, and the other was conical....That the conical would have more drag. How is this not correct? --------------------------------- If the only goal was more surface area then there would be no purpose in the dome shape. You could just simply make the slider bigger and it would be easier to make. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. 12. Angel Falls is over 3 grand, ------------------------------- To be precise Angel Falls, in Venezuela is 3,81 feet tall and is the highest waterfall in the world. I was reading that off my placemat this morning. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. 13. But I think most people don't really count oral because its allot more common. ------------------------------- Where is this more common? My personal experience suggests otherwise. 14. Most of these I wouldn't refer to as sports. Instead I think of them as different disciplines of sports. Big wave surfing is just the most dangerous thing you can do in surfing. Base jumping before learning to skydive is pretty close to suicide so that is just a dangerous form of skydving. Heli-skiing is the same with respect to skiing, just like cave diving with scuba. Once you put everything into perspective I think Bull Riding is without a doubt the most dangerous sport in the world because there is no real safe way to do it. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  15. Sounds like a pocket slider to me... 3..2..1..C-YA marc ------------------------ As far as I know, no canopy manufacturing company is even selling it. So you can really call it whatever you want. I have always heard it referred to as dome or bubble slider. But pocket sounds fine. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 16. --------------------------------- Hey if a woman named Ann knows enough to choose a greatdane then she obviously has a good head on her shoulders. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 17. -------------------- Its a slider that has a dome or a bubble built into it. Its works kind of like dearching does in RW. Even though your not increasing your surface area by cupping air you are creating more drag and therfore slowing your fall rate. That is why this slider comes down slower and slows the opening down in the process. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  18. Try reading some of the lefty responses to Slander for some cheap entertainment. Buffoons. Beers to all, Vinny the Anvil
  19. I pose this as a question to get different opinions. But I believe the answer is not yet proven. I have jumped my 62 with three different sliders and have yet to try the second slider on my 55. Here is what I have found with my 62. The hardest openings came from the factory slider (without a dome). I also jumped it with a domed none removeable slider. It provided a little softer opening but not a huge difference. Then I jumped it with a removeable domed slider and noticed no difference from a regular domed slider. That contradicted what I was told to expect because of the difference in the coverage of the slider over the canopy during the initial part of the opening. My 55 which I had expected to have a bomb for an opening has actually opened quite nicely even at terminal. My theory for this is that since the scaled version of the slider is so small, it restricts the canopy into a tighter nest just long enough to slow down the descent rate before inflating. That to me would suggest that although a bigger slider creates more drag it would not necessarily provide a softer opening. Of course I am aware that there is more to the opening than the slider but here I am just focusing on the effects of different sliders on the same canopy. Anybody else have theories on the matter. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  20. Of course he should be kicked out but voting Republican and voting Arnold is mutually inclusive and the best thing to do as well. Arnold is not some moron like Jessie Ventura and I think he could do the state a lot of good. The only drawback is that he was not born in the U.S. and therefore could not run for president 1-2 terms later as did the Great Ronald Reagan. But who knows maybe with time this unfair law can be changed. After all there are a lot of people who were not born here who are far more patriotic that many who were. 21. You mean you dont care about opinions you dont agree with? Actually after years of struggling trying to understand...I have learned to tune out a lot of stuff. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I like most is that since she is a woman she can really attack those liberals ...called meanspirited. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually I do believe this is true ... I would prefer a woman. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey looky at me...I can take stuff outta context too... I can give half statements, and distort the actual responses by editing Hey can I work for the media now? __________________________________________________ Yeah, I know...I need therapy. -------------------------------------------------- lmfao, thats good! 22. ----------------------------------- I am going to assume that you are not trying to suggest that I hate women because that would just be silly of you. But then I really don't see what you're talking about. What is your point? 23. ----------------------------------- this I agree with 100% ========================= ------------------------------ talk about being out of context we don't even know what she is talking about here. The sentence she said before and after would help in understanding. =================================== -------------------------------------------------- Again I don't believe anything can be inferred from this. It would help if we knew what they were talking about and what she said before and after this. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 24. You mean you dont care about opinions you dont agree with? ------------------------------------------ Actually after years of struggling trying to understand why some people just don't get it I have learned to tune out a lot of stuff. Besides that because of the liberal strong hold on the media and the educational system I have been forced to hear and read more liberal garbal than I wish to. ===================== -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I like most is that since she is a woman she can really attack those liberals directly without worry of being called meanspirited. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Says who? Remster Muff 914 ------------------------------------- Actually I do believe this is true and the proof I can offer up is how women are slowly but surely taking over the legal profession. They are much less likely to have an objection sustained. For that reason if I need a lawyer if all else is the same I would prefer a woman. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  25. Its tite is "TREASON, Liberal Treachery from the cold war to the war on terrorism" by Ann Coulter. As I walked into Barnes and Nobles there it was on the best seller rack. Immediately I recognized Ann's face from the times she has been on Hannity and Colmes (sometimes even sitting in for Sean Hannity). So I knew she was a woman who opinions I actually cared about. But I still had to check it out before buying it so I read the first chapter and she is just awesome, when it comes to laying the facts right on the table. What I like most is that since she is a woman she can really attack those liberals directly without worry of being called meanspirited. And she does a great job at that. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
