  1. I just realized what you were saying. No that its just my signiture. Its lyrics of a Ramstein song, Du Hast (you have). It means the following: Willst du bis der Tod euch scheide Do you want to to be together till death separate you? treu ihr sein für alle Tage ... to be true to her for all days (till the end of time) nein no (this is the response to the question) nein no (emphasizing the no) If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  2. no dude, that is a very real pic. I have the video at home with me in the audience that day. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  3. So there it is. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  4. actually that would probably suggest that he could have swooped even further if he was using an RDS system. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  5. He is not using the RDS. I thought everybody was using it already. Whats up with that? If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  6. Well hmm, i'm tryin to be a smartass, but wingloading 4.0 on 39 or 4.0 on 85 for example is definitely not the same. The body (pilot) on 39 produces so much more drag comparing to the lift than on the 85 that's it's way harder to land (i'd assume). not to mention the lenght of the lines..... This is absolutely true and I don't in anyway deny it, although for accuracy we can say that I am on a 55 not an 85. But never the less the same holds true. When you weigh between 200 and 220 (depending on wether your bulking or cutting @ the time) you really don't have a choice. If I jumped the 39 with *no* weights I would be near 6 to 1. I don't even know if its possible to land @ 6 to 1. However I do know, I don't feel compelled to try that at this point. But I am not complaining, if and when I buy a canopy ideal for distance and have my try at that, I won't have to be strapping 50 pounds to myself like Cani does. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  7. Thanks for proving my point that you can't fire back because you see you're wrong. As I always say, there is nothing wrong with making a mistake. Its when you insist that your really correct and don't learn from it, that you have a problem. cheers If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  8. If you read my original post you would see my point was not to discredit anyone. I just believe the truth is always better than fiction. I believe that inflating somebody's accomplishments takes away from them, rather than adds, that you should say it like it is regardless of the situation. I made it very clear that my intent was not to diminish anybody's accomplishments. (in those exact words) If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  9. actually if you did the math you would clearly see this is BS, but it all go back to sensationalism. First if you stand next Cani you can clearly see he does not weigh over 130 pounds (140 tops). Even if you went to the website the posted wingloading on the 46 as 3.5. After I pointed out that he was stalling it on all the landings they had posted, the landings were removed. Now the first thing I said when I saw him landing the 39 was that he was landing it way better than he did the 46 and for that I gave him credit. But back to the topic at hand. He may have flown the 46 with 50 pounds of weight and cut it away. However, not only is there no video of him actually landing it with weight, but there was plenty of video of him landing it without weights and having a hell of a hard time at that. (running like hell while the canopy was stalling out behind him.) Funny thing is it all comes back to sensationalism. As soon as he jumped the 39 cheerleaders on the same website somehow imagined that he was wearing weights while so. Whatever... If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  10. Really? You're pretty sure of this. Guess what. Flying and landing a 4.0 wingloading isn't that hard. Doing it consitantly and safely is. IT's a stunt, and should be treated as such. Sounds like you've got sour grapes buddy. You appear to be standing around saying big deal, while silently screaming "LOOK AT ME!" Who cares really. Its funny to hear this since I have done it hundreds of times and Cani has done it a handfull of times. Yet, you as many others here are all over his ass competing to give it the biggest kiss. When I jumped my canopy for the first time, I had my good freinds at my local DZ watching. I didn't have TV cameras there to make it appear as if I was doing something that hadn't been done before. I didn't have a picture taken with my canopy lying over at tandem to try to make it appear small. The reality is that if you put my 55 side by side with the 39 there is not a huge difference and if you put both of them on top of a tandem, I bet most from a picture couldn't tell which was which. My issue isn't about look I am great, I did it first, (although I did.) But its about the hyprocisy that I get from Cani's cheerleaders. I post a few pictures that I am proud of and get all the canopy nazi's talking all the possible crap that they know nothing about. Meanwhile a video gets posted of Cani obviously stalling it and most likely falling down with it and his cheerleaders are still out in the front trying to deny what they clearly saw. Meanwhile in attempt to not seem like assholes they claim it all to be in the name of safety. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 11. I have heard that before and don't doubt. Its just that I have had some of my risers from before that was said / discovered and not gotten around to changing them. However, I have been thinking about possibly going to standard risers on the next pair I purchase. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  12. Here is a pic I had taken recently,( a couple of weeks ago). I was attempting to kick a cone here and came up about 20 feet short of it. You can still clearly see that there was no running involved, there rarely is. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  13. QuoteSteel: Are you saying that you have had a wingsuit flyer dock on you while you were under canopy before Luigi did it? reply] I haven't actually done it. I remember talking about it in 2003 with John Storie (owner of the adventure loft). He is an avid wingsuit flier. We threw it up in the air as something that might be fun to try, but never got around to doing it. To be quite clear what I am saying is that, Anybody who can fly & land @ a wingloading above 4.0 can do it. This I have done more times than anybody else for sure. I believe that Vladi Pesa had even tried it with a wingloading noticeably lower. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. 14. Next time I'm in Dallas I'll bring my S3... lets hook up and dock sounds good to me, cool. when do you think that might be? If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  15. I don't know who you are but for the record. I don't reply to that character. In the past I have had my online arguements with him and they accomplish nothing. He always looks to stir the pot posting absolute nonsense. His nonsense and demeanor has him permanently banned from my local dz. So since I don't have to put up with him there, I can just laugh at what he posts here. Any objective person can see through his ramblings and for those who can't, I probably would be happier not dealing with them anyway. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  16. When you say "almost" does that mean somewhere between downwind and crosswind or does that mean somewhere between upwind and crosswind? There was somewhere between downwind and crosswind. See this is what annoys me. When push comes to shove its quite clear that there was a downwind component. But for some reason people seem to seek out the sensationalism. Now I am not trying to, in anyway, diminish what was accomplished here. But when you talk somebody's accomplishments up, that suggests to me that their accomplishments really don't have the merit to stand for themselves. Kind of like what was done with the VX-39. Sure its the smallest wing landed to this date. But its not exactly ground breaking that it can dock with a guy on a wingsuit. Anybody who can fly & land at over a 4.0 wingloading can easily accomplish this task. I for one have flown and landed fast enough to do this hundreds of times and had been doing it for more than a year before the 39 made its debut. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  17. yeah, the Chechnyans were tired of hearing that the terrorist suicide bomber problem was always middle eastern men so now they added middle Eastern women. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  18. Ummmm...no I didn't. for some reason I can't find this in a search right now. But I specifically remember the second the story broke, you being the first person to post it on dz.com, well I can't swear by it cause I can find the post right now. But if I recall correctly you said something along the lines of, I can't wait to see what scandal is going to break out on O'reilly. If indeed it wasn't you then it was some other liberal here. In any case the point would be the same, just it wouldn't have been you. In that case I am sorry for misquoting you. cheers If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  19. I think the military has every right to look out for its own interests and that clearly means letting people know what Kerry's true military record was. Susan Estrich

Thats not the complete truth. That's like saying both Christian and Muslim men beat their wives. Sure you can come up with countless examples of Christian men beating their wives. But for every one instance of that you come up with there will be 10 of the other. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Susan Estrich

I never thought Susan Estrich was moderate but she came across to me as polite and courteous, until yesterday. I actually had began to like her even though her politics are and will always be very different from mine. However, yesterday she reminded everyone that she is a member of the rude and offensve party with the way she tore into Giuliani. Attacking somebody’s character on grounds of statements made during a divorce, I think is a cheap shot. I think it only serves as a reminder that she is a member of the party that operates is such slanderous ways. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. 22. Well then I guess that could be something else that I won't buy. Ofcourse that is assuming that everything you're saying is accurate. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  23. There is a huge difference in the process of making a leather jacket. (a lot less animals are killed per jacket / coat, they don't have to be tortured for the skin, and most of they time the are killed for food anyway.) so no leather is not included. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  24. I don't understand how fur coat manufactures can stay in business. I think the word is out about the inhumane process of making a fur coat is. But somehow there are enough people who buy these coats to keep up the demand for them. Yes I boycott fur, veal and any product made by a lefty so extreme that his or her rehtoric offends me. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
  25. Since WHEN is self admition not proof? Or was Kerry LYING again? Do you have the signed affidavit of admission, or are you relying on hearsay too? I have seen video of Kerry's admission on the Dick Cavett Show,1971. Or wait are you informing us that this was not really Kerry but an imposter? If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
