uhhh.. dogs. i've had a few german shepards, a wolf (my favorite), couple golden retrievers, black labs, border collies.. a billion cats i've had... probably 10 horses over the years at one time we had about 120 cows. had a pet pig, pot bellied pig named miss piggy. yes, she was house trained. had a gecko named Gex. a few fish, but never really interested me. a few turtles, all of which escaped. a bunch of chickens.. a pet duck named quacker thats all i can think of right now. And yes, most of those were all at the same time, we used to live on a ranch.

my absolute biggest pet peeve is when i make plans to do something, and then we either get together, and the person wants to do something else that THEY want to do, not me, or the person just doesnt show up at all. oooooooooooooooooh pisses me off. of course they never know it because i'm not the emotional type but i'm on "boiling" inside.

LOL.... okay, another change in plans. My friend offered to use his truck instead of my car, which will cost more in gas (about 40 dollars more apiece) but since we have been planning on going for so long, we are officially back to plan "Arizona or Bust" -
0:3:0 Made 3 jumps, had alot of fun, but the damn wind really really pisses me off. oooooooooooh. Why oh why do we have to have wind? woulda been at least 4 jumps if not more if the winds hadnt picked up.

yep... the first 4 levels suck!! you're so scared that you're gonna mess up, and you're still not sure what to do, and how to do it. definitely know how that goes. but trust me, after you pass level 4, its smooth sailing!! its very hard to learn how to relax, but once you realize that you can do it, and save your own life, it gets MUCH easier to just chill out and have fun. Just stick with it bro i promise when you get to like level 5 or 6, you'll be like, damn this is fawkin fun as hell!!

Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie II
TribalTalon replied to sangiro's topic in The Bonfire
Houston, we have a problem. It appears that i will no longer be attending the boogie. After taking a serious look at my finances, my transportation, and my schedule, i decided to actually do the mature, responsible thing for once, and called off the trip. I have the money, but my car is such a piece of shit, and with the way my year's gone, it'd be only fitting if it blew up in the middle of freakin nowhere in the desert and we had to walk 100 miles back to civilization. Also, college for me starts up January 5th, and i STILL havent moved into my apartment. So, anyway sorry that i wont get to meet yall this christmas, and boy it SUCKS being responsible. -
Sexiest Parts... "It's Just an Ass?" WTF???
TribalTalon replied to jumpinjackflash's topic in The Bonfire
well.. i cannot deny i like a nice shapely ass and some firm boobies, but thats just eye candy to look at. There's some girls, you just look at them and its like your heart just stops. of course, i've never even gotten the time of day from those kind of girls, but whatever. It'd be nice to fall in love with one of those kind of girls that just completely take your breath away. oh well, maybe in another life. -
well.. its probably been the worst year of my life as a whole, but the plus is that i finally got into skydiving, and i'm so much better of a person now. skydiving has changed me alot, its nice to know there's somewhere i can always go to escape all my worries and just go. umm.. Love. what love. no such thing. 'nuff said. Work: probably the best job i ever had, got paid for doing hardly anything and my coworkers and bosses were AWESOME Family: sucked. me and the parentals have been at each others throats all year long, its been a long rocky road, needless to say. All in all, i guess i cant really complain, i was healthy all year, didnt get hurt at all, and i'm still breathing so *shrugs* 2004 better kick some ass is all i know.

lol thats great.. i actually went to the CD store for the first time in 2 years a few weeks ago, i figured i'd buy a godsmack cd and linkin park cd to support the band, plus i was having a hard time finding good copies of the songs on kazaa.. 20 dollars!!!!!!! friggin insane. RIAA can blow me, i'm gonna keep on downloading songs. for FREE, suckers.

actually no, not death, they have roll cages and all kinds of safety devices. Of course, there is always the risk of injury or death, but it really doesnt happen that often. I used to be BIG into the drag racing/street racing thing before i got into skydiving.

LOL!!!! that was great, man... your stories rock! -
i'm actually looking at getting my own rig, i've been standing up every landing and actually pretty accurately, as well. I'm down to a 200 sq foot canopy now, and still feel pretty good about landing it, i dont feel like i'm going to kill myself with it. I've been thinking about getting a Spectre 170, i weigh about 190-200 out the door. I would be using a very conservative wing loading, and really concentrating more on accuracy then swooping since i want to eventually switch over to base. I'm a VERY poor college boy, so basically once i get a canopy, thats it, its gonna have to last me for a few years. So i dont want to get like a 190 or something and then get tired of it and bored and be stuck. at the same time i dont want to go too low, like a 120 or something (YIKES)
-
daddy when we get to heaven, can i taste the milky way, are we goin there to visit, or are we goin there to stay? and can i have a pair of wings, do you think God could use another angel, to help pour out the rain... yeah thats a pretty good song. I used to have Nice to Know you by Incubus stuck in my head ALL the time. got old.
-
i agree.. but its got a big top end.. i heard it can get up to around 160? thats moving pretty good.. my car only has maybe 140 hp (stock) and i got it up to about 135 a bunch of times.

ME MYSELF AND IRENE!!! lol i hate having to pee with morning wood. its times like those that i wish that i had a small weiner. i hate the split streams, those suck big time. how about the dribblers? like when you shake it off, you're sure that you're done and you put it back in the pants and it gives one final defiant squirt. D'OH!
-
ooooooooooooooh this is gonna be good *readies the super squirters, fire exinguishers and gasoline. We'll make you quit, one way or another. muahahahaha!

hmmm.. I'd have to say Brooks and Dunn Neon Circus, which included toby keith, gary allen, montgomery gentry, trick pony, keith urban, cletus judd and of course brooks and dunn. That was a pretty sweet concert. I hope to go to the Linkin Park concert here in february. That should kick some major f'ing ass.

hmmm.. stupidest thing i've ever done was on my first AFF jump, i was having a really hard time getting penetration into the wind, (kinda bad spot), so i was just crabbing along. At 600 feet i was directly above the Rottweiler farm, which i was told NOT to land in since the owner's an ass and uhh.. there's rottweilers. So i decided that i might as well just try to make it back to the dropzone, remember that i'm deaf, and i didnt have any radio assistance. to make a long story short, i came in over the powerlines at about 60 feet, and managed to land okay. Now looking back that was probably one of the stupidest things i've ever done, but i didnt know. i should have already decided exactly where i could have landed safely by like 1,500 feet. Oh well. I'm glad i had that experience though, taught me to be alot more aware of my surroundings and to look for outs. -
beverly hillbillies! lol...... anyway uhhh.. Black...eyed peas?

Interested in finding out the truth about dating skydivers
TribalTalon replied to hmatousek's topic in The Bonfire
LOL!! nah i'm cool with it, besides at this point we arent even dating, so whatever, ya know? just something i thought i'd add. -
2 words too many now thats gross. okay well the weirdest thing i've ever done was give a girl a golden shower, but it was her idea, and we were in the shower. and of course, i'm always up for just about anything, so i just let 'er rip. hahaha. it wasnt all that, but still pretty darn weird.

Anyone gotten burned out on skydiving?
TribalTalon replied to mfrese's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, i'm not a haggard old veteran by any means, in fact i'm still a newbie, i made my tandem jump november 2nd. Since then i took my FJC course and am steadily progressing through AFF. If it hadnt been for my awesome jump master (Mike Smith), i probably would not have decided to keep jumping. Whenever i had a question, he was always willing to help, and for that i'm deeply grateful. I hope that when i get my A license, that he'll be there, because there's gonna be a case of beer that i expect him to take care of. Seriously, its guys like him and guys like you that bring in people to this sport. Sure, the vast majority of tandems probably will never jump again, but you never know who might be back the next weekend, and the next, and the next, much to the chagrin of my now second home, SDH.
