Don't bother if you are looking to use it for gaming. Driver support is terrible at the moment and many of the bigger names ( ie Creative) do not support it yet. An interesting side note - MS pull support and development of the Itanium based OS this month. Therefore there will not be an Intel specific version of the 64bit OS now. I wouldn't hold your breath on this OS being done any time soon. It was supposed to launch the same day as the AMD64 - and as you can see, they still don't have it out. What OS change? Did you ever have software from the DSL company installed on your system? Is it possible your computer was doing the PPPOE via the OS or the software? I haven't looked at what your router has, but if it lacks PPPOE this could be the issue. Good luck with this. Mine has never healed fully after getting hit by a drunk. The pain is with me daily, and many times I have to keep my shoes off to get thru the day. Yes, it has kept me out of the air...a lot. I used to be able to do 13 jumps in a day with no problem, now I'm lucky if I can handle 4. One bad opening has me out for a month or more...which is why I will be selling my Stiletto for a Pilot soon. The pain path is the same for me, but mine can also shoot up my back at times. No one will believe you in how much it hurts just to sit down, be still, sit in the plane, etc. Mine healed a bit after the accident when I was on my back for about four months - but that caused me to put on the extra weight I now carry. About two years ago I got back into shape and went skiing and made it worse and even lost control of my leg one morning (no feeling in it). So, this is something you will need to really keep an eye on. I had a terrible opening on my last jump at Rantoul - I saw stars on a borrowed canopy. I've made four jumps since that. You know what helped me the most? Standing as much as possible. I did this photography stint for two weeks where we stood for at least eight hours a day...I've never felt better. Watch out how much you work out, if you irritate it you will be in a world of hurt. Stretching helps. Drive thru any mountain or high hills area and you will have terrible reception off of most cell phone services. Satellite phones may be different - ask billvon about that. All cell phone carriers suck in one way or another. About a week ago I heard about a tornado in the LA area and thought WTF??? I didn't think California ever had tornados... so I looked up the history and found that the LA area has an average of about one tornado a year, and CA in general has a handful of tornados every year. (They all seem to be pretty small ones though, that don't cause much damage.) If you look, you can find tornado's happen just about anywhere in the world. But they are rare in certain places. (and they can happen in a major city despite the urban myth that you would be safe there. Both Miami and Fort Worth have been hit by one) Isn't this all from El Nino? I heard a few months back they were expecting a small version of it this year. ....wow!!! My throat is sore from laughing that much. What a great show! If you are a Python fan you have to see this. I'm working to see if I can find another set of tickets to go again. Once this thing hits Broadway in a few months it will be impossible to ever see it. All three big names did great in their roles, but so did the rest of the cast...esp the Lady of the Lake who got one of the larger amount of applause. fyi - just found out this was the official opening night. The last week of charged performances have been "paid rehersals" and they used it to tweak the show. This was the night that the final product finally hit the stage.
