The ending was just too easy to guess. While I may not have known their exact motivations, I had an idea. Well....I finally gave in and started to play last night (after a day of not being able to log in due to server issues and an hour of downloading the updates). I don't think I have ever been so overwhelmed by a game before - there is A LOT to this game. I can't believe that an online game looks and plays this good. I haven't gotten into the social aspect of it yet, or paired up with anyone for a quest as I am trying to figure things out. I think I have already made a mistake or two with some of the training I purchased for my main character....but I am hooked. Is going to level 5 in one night typical??? Right now I am on the server with the name Dragon in it (can't remember the full name) playing as a Night Elf Warrior. I also have an Undead Mage I am playing around with. I may use these characters to figure the game out and then start up new ones. I've PM'd a couple people about the game...but is there anyone else out there being as big of a geek as I am now? This thing is video game crack! If you download the $80 package or buy the special edition you get HL1 redone in the Source engine which helps upgrades the graphics a bit. I love both of them and they are worth the time playing. Steam is a pain sometimes but it's also a great way to make sure that the game is up to date and removes the confusion of which patch to install for the newbies. There are few games that make me want to sit down and finish the game in a short period of time - HL and HL2 are two of those games (despite the PITA ending of HL1) _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Keeping my place at 65F last month cost me $208!! It would depend upon how much work you are willing to put into it, how large of a dropzone it is at,and how much you want to raise. Keeping it just to the skydiving world will keep it on the smaller side. If you want to raise more, it will take more than just a few months of work, and it will require you to go outside our sport. With the amount they raise, I can only imagine the hours of work that goes into JFTC. For the last three years Team Funnel has done a fundraiser for Make A Wish and broke the $5000 mark each time. This helped fill three full wishes for some amazing children. We are doing the same thing again this year. But it takes a lot of work from a bunch of people. This year we have six or seven people that will be donating time and money to help fill another wish over the next five months (originally planning started 7 months ago). We have another ten to twenty that help out the weekend of the event. This is the second F4 movie made in recent history. The first one was sooooooooo bad that they shelved it after they were done with the final edit - it will never be shown. I've always been an analytical type - love math, science and computers. They are logical and are easy to understand. Been doing those type of jobs my entire life even thou every career test I have taken has told me to be creative and work with people. I had some of that stuff last night - wow, didn't think it would be that good. I was surprised how small the cup was for the price, but it's so rich you can barely finish the entire cup. Luckily I was along with my own personal barrista and she combined it with her Casa Cielo (Starbucks Top Shelf Coffee) for what was the best coffee I have ever had. Yup, I have shown videos to a variety of whuffos and even friends that have made a few tandems - all of them get bored to tears quick. I remember watching the XGame Skysurfing stuff before I started jumping. ESPN dropped skydiving from the XGames...that should be a clue on why no one else has picked it up. Should be interesting to see how much press Perris can get for Nationals this year. JFTC should help with that as well.
