I think at one point a member in the 2000 attempt had on 40lbs (he actually made a chain link vest and he did have emergency procedures for it). The could scream to about 150 if they wanted to, but that wasn't the point. Norge and Roger wanted Da Base to come out solid 100% of the time, and keep a consistent speed. He wanted the entire 300 way to be going 120mph so everyone had range. He knew it would eventually float once it was completed and people got lazy and relaxed. Da Base always used high grips, but everyone in the base had legs out to drive in, and always looked under their grips. The GK have an intentional mal/cutaway built into their demo. It is a special rig with three canopies on the back. Have a chance to do a last minute trip to Cancun with friends....we just found this deal and it looks amazing for the cost (all inclusive, including flight). The hotel would be near Pat O'Briens and Margaritaville. I'm thinking of going since I haven't had a real vacation in two years and haven't been to Mexico for over four years now. I think part of the huge reduction of price for this is the fact that the flight back will be on Sept 11. How is Cancun? How can you leave Anthrax off that list? And as far as the PMRC goes, how did Tipper miss out on the ballad they made about her (it was on Attack of the Killer B's). The PMRC, in my opinion, only went after things they know would light up in the media. It was just an extension of the hype behind the Suicide Solution BS from years ago. Have to agree with what is being said over all about Metallica - they changed a lot, and I hated the Black Album (aka the Spinal Tap ripoff) when I first got it. I always thought that Jason would bring a bit of the Flotsam influence into the mix, but it seems he was just never a part of making their music. The Black Album was just a victim of Lars wanting the fame and the record company wanting to overproduce the CD and capitalize off them. Cliff was just pure musical genius and I wish he was still around to see how he would have grown (I still have his last concert on bootleg cassette). I've always liked Kirk's style over Mustane - Kirk has much more of a classical appreciation to music where Dave seems to just love to thrash it up. There is nothing wrong with either method, but one of the reasons I loved Testament was how they brought so many influences into their music. Megadeath has remained so unchanged that I don't feel the need to buy anymore of their CDs - they all sound the same to me. I liked a lot of the St Anger stuff - it reminded me of the old, angry metal days of the 80s. The best part was watching Lars eat crow for all he has said over the years about Dave and apologized to him on film. i have a feeling that he didn't have a shot at your support no matter what and I'm sure you're just being overly dramatic when you say that he is the worst person for the presidency. No, I'm not.
