Wow, hard to believe that was back in Dec '05! I thought that story was more recent. *sigh* Walt, Walt, Walt *shake head*... tsk tsk ~skysprite

It's the visual! I can just see him going cross-eyed trying to see wtf she just left for him before the realization sinks in! ~skysprite

Oh goodie! I shall put you in a grass skirt and coconut bra and mount you on the hood of my car! (Don't think you'll fit on the dash. ) And what would you do with me in a grass skirt? Didn't I just say I would mount you on the hood of my car?? ~skysprite

Knowing this crowd, I'm surprised no one's posted asking for a "I'm male/female and I've left a deposit for my s/o before!" poll option! Y'all are slackin'! ~skysprite

With all the "shit" threads going around today, I dunno if I'd trust this!! LOL, I'm a truck driver, and the "load" this time refers to steel coils going to Butler Mfg in San Marcos. I'm actually quite serious. I NEED some air time, and the location, as well as my down time, seem to fit perfectly. BUT, if I can't get my rig repacked, it's not worth the extra miles on my truck. I pay for my own fuel, and it's not cheap pulling 80,000 pounds gross weight. I'm hoping I can get it packed and get some much needed wind in my hair! I figured as much! Just, ummm, "giving you shit" for lack of a better phrase! ~skysprite

Check the attitude at the door, pull up a seat and offer the regulars a beer. The nice ones will come out of the wood work. The others, well, they're the entertainment! Oh, and whatever you do, don't trust that mnealtx guy! He's bad news!! ~skysprite

Congratulations!

+1 here!!... Add me to that list too! I don't carry a brick around, but my phone is fairly old school. I certainly don't run out and get a new phone every year! I have yet to drop my phone in the toilet, or off several stories, or lose it, but if I were to get a $600 phone (is that still the going rate?), that'd probably be the first things I'd do, knowing me! I'd rather have my cheap (but good) phone that I can replace. Plus my phone has little features that I personally care about, that some of the newer phones don't have! I don't care about my phone doubling as an MP3 player, or video camera, or mini computer with internet connection. I want to call and text with it. And the two cell phones that I have had were either free, or damn near free after a mail in rebate/contract extension. Call me cheap if you want, but my current phone (almost free) has everything I need in a phone! It's not even blue tooth capable, but I don't think I want to encourage myself to be on the phone while I'm driving anyway! I'm just not that way. I'll call back when I pull over/get to my destination! ~skysprite

Why did I open that? ~skysprite

Nothing significant comes to mind around June 23rd of any year for me, so will leave the 23rd to you and wish ya Happy Birthday! ~skysprite

Good luck! I learned when I was 17, and had to drive my parent's manual around on occasion for maybe a couple months until I moved away. Had an automatic myself up until about a month and a half ago. I had an opportunity to accept a car as a graduation present. The only "problem" was that it was a stick shift. Problem shmoblem, that car is mine!!

My Uncle used to live there so I used to visit all the time. From a visitor's perspective, it's a beautiful area! Generally speaking the people up there are a different brand of people than I'm used to, but overall everyone's very nice. My Uncle would talk all the time about going hiking and doing the outdoorsy type stuff you mentioned. ~skysprite

Booooooolaaas! Happy Birthday dude! (Hi Bubbles! Was great talking to you a couple weeks ago while you kept screaming for people to get you some vodka! ) ~skysprite

A couple of our DJs on the radio here recently talked about that show and had Bob on for a few minutes! They found the original sound clip and kept playing it over and over again! I'm sure you're all shocked to find out that one of the DJs is a skydiver! ~skysprite
