Lmao yea I got all this stuff right before I started jumping. I thought about selling it, but everyone wants to screw you so bad. It cost me over 1300$ but everyone on e-bay and pawn shops want to bend you over and give you 1/4 what it's worth. I am not going to take a hit like that. If the right person came along SOLD! Everything of mine is for sale for the right price.

clicky to other thread I watched on real tv one time where a "gotcha tv" show got a elephant to sit on the hood of a mans car as he was trying to get in it. They tried to make it look like an accident. Blew out the front tires, and crushed the hood. Funny stuff.

Aight I have 2 12" Rockford subs in a ported Q-Logic box. Each running mono bridged off it's own Rockford fosgate 500S amp, with 2 gauge power wire feeding them. Total power 1500 watts rms 2500 watts peak. When it hits full power it draws 172 amps. Head unit is the Sony (model#?) it is the one without any buttons, only a screen and a remote. I have stock components B/C they sound so good I never felt the need to replace them. I the box is out of spec(not enough volume, ports too short), So I have only hit 122Db. I am waiting to get a custom box built to fit 4 12"s. All fits in the back seat of a 1500 dodge ex. cab 4X4 . How about ya?!

Can someone locate me using my cell phone number?
cvfd1399 replied to kelel01's topic in The Bonfire
When we get fire calls on our alpha pagers the C.A.D system automatically puts in the location of the nearest tower to the callers phone. -
When it gets stupid I change the channel, to walton and johnson. I like talk radio in the morning, and when I eat in the vehicle I have to listen to AM political shows I don't know why. Afternoon Is 93.7(rock) or 104.9 (alt rock)

The "jail" we will now call it serves the whole parish. When any law enforcement officer in the whole parish arrests someone based off of a previous warrant, or witnessed arrest they are brought to the one jail. At that time if they are brought in for a felony, they are immediately swabbed upon entering the central booking. If they are brought in on a misdemeanor, that they cannot bond out of they have to see a judge either by video or in person and he decides if their violation is worth a swabb.

?? It certainly does. But a) you cannot tell one CDMA (i.e. digital) phone from another by what it's transmitting and b) the phone varies its power output based on an unpredictable (to the scanner) method. It all looks like the same noise. If the phone you're chasing is the only one being used within 10 miles, and you knew exactly when it would be used, and it was stationary, you might have a shot. Otherwise you'll just see wideband noise. *** A) Sure you can, once you lock on you hold that freq. It is not trucked or a repeater, so once you have it, and it stays in range you got it. B) That is why it is alot harder than analog. C) Right I don't know how you could single out a phone without some E.Q I don't have . What we would do is just grab a frequency and go chasing after it, hoping to catch it before they hung up. If we were chasing a friend, we would have him start near us, scan till we get the strongest signal, and then allow him to run. D) I am not sure why you say noise. Only trunked repeaters sites make noise in my experience, and is from the constant high speed packet switch from it assigning frequencies to radios. Even those change as to not wear out one bank more than the other. We started this by going after 25.000-29.000 cordless house phones back in the day, you could get crystal clear conversation from your neighbors in the neighborhood, then we would track it to the house. I had my best friends locked in so every time he talked to his girlfriend on the phone, I could razz him about being a wuss.(hey we were at that age). As soon as we could drive, and had our own vehicles it went to C.B with linears, and Hi-low bands. After that, we started the cell phone thing, and now I am into intercepting video that is broadcasted over C.B and Microwaves -
Every felony is swabbed, and ever misdeameanor is brought up to a judge for him to make a decision on. Let me make this clear in no way are we walking up and testing random people on the street, I also believe that is wrong. I will Pm ya

My bad, it is called the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. It holds 1400 males and 350 females. It is a jail and a prison. Sorry I forgot to point that out. They will hold you there for small stuff like 30 days ect, and if it is a more serious crime, up to like a year then they process you over to a full time prison such as Angola State Pen.

So your saying that the signal never increases or decreases by the distance you are from the phone. That once it leaves the antenna it has the same strength from start to a magical line in the air at which point it goes from full signal to none? Or are you referring to cell phones(speaking of frequency ranges)radio wave signal how it travels up and down not out in a circle like ripples in a pond. It makes it harder to find you don't get a true "hot to cold" chase signal it is usually cold..cold..cold..warm-hot. I have many times chased friends, and had friends chased me using cell phones and regular scanners. Easier using the wire loop medthod mounted on the side mirror. Indeed it is harder than true analog phones that when the signal gets weaker you have to speed up until it goes stronger. With analog/digital or only digital phones you get clear sound and then you hear the "bath tub" which is harder to due to the fine line where it just dops off. The best spot to hide is near alot of pine trees, B/C the length of a pine needle is the approximate length of a 800 MH wave. It screws up who ever is trying to find you b/c of all the millions of little natural antennas around you that absorb and bounce the signal. Don't even get me started on how to use days that are high in solar flares to help you out. Man we had a boring ass childhood to figure out all this. Oh and you can light up a fluorescent light bulb near a radio running off of a sweet 16 without touching the antenna. Ever came over the speakers in a department store while you were over a mile away? Hello welcome to Burger king may I take you order... T.X... buzz...what happened to the register...? Or the good old ride by the car with a bass system booming key up and shut down their amp. Why do you need 4 batteries in your truck? Who ever knows what I am talking you know who you are. FCC who? How much is that fine? -
Well I did gradgiated 12th grade, but my attention to details after having been up for over 30 hours has left the building. The general who give a sh!t about proper spelling and grammar you know what I am trying to say attitude has kicked in, but I still love you guys. had to edit for spelling

Aww definatly, us guys were discussing how long it would take before a case was brought against the office on the actual legal right to swabb. It is in the law, so we think we are covered to a small extent, but you know they go for bigger deepr pockets. In the serial killer case here, the defence is focusing on how the DNA evidence was collected, it seems that the agency that found him and swabbed Lee had a suopena, not a warant, and some of the info was not exactly right. They are going to work that angle. Every lawyer we talked to still says that the judge will allow it based on the amount of other evidence. Also that the officers acting on good faith and the fact the they were so close on his tail that even without the DNA he was about to be caught anyways. They figure the DNA is just iceing on the cake.

CVFD--> Yes I agree, only use the technology on known offenders, and if your not a criminal why worry about having it on file. I still haven't decided on all the angles yet. One good side to testing everyone like stated above, is in recovery efforts in kidnapping, or disasters. I really like the idea of genetic testing before two peope have kids. It can identify if your two sets of genes will conflict and possible cause a child with a deformity, disease, ect. They can even put you on meds to counteract that and have a healthy baby. I am thinking of getting this done before me and my wife have children. I would take care of a child either way, but why bring a child into this world KNOWING that he/she will lead that life. I do not agree with altering the gender, hair, eyes, body that is not what it should be used only for health not cosmetic reasons.

Agreed, I see your point on her taking the heat off of him and his issues. I asked for sources. I figured if a national radio show, a local paper, and AOL. All had reference to it in the same day it was worthy of a second look to see where it came from. Anyone got a source?

You think insurance companies and employers are going to spend the MAJOR bucks to test someone just to disqualify them for something? Want would they be looking for? I hear that line alot, but no one ever gives me a good answer on what they would look for or find justifing that cost. Spend a couple thousand to disqualify you for genetic obesity, high blood pressure or what. What could an employer gain by doing testing ? I agree about the expectation of privacy, and not going around and swabbing every person on the street. I think it is a good idea to test criminals upon booking. I was scaning the books and saw for the first 50 people that was brought in 49 of them had been to our prison. Can you say repeat offenders! As far as the finger print thing goes, AFIS the finger printing system hasn't given us any troubles. When you put them on the machine it scans hits for ailises, which we can use to cross check for warrants before we release them. It takes their picture, and even has a place where you take pictures of all their tatoos and scars. That way incase of a rape, and the woman noticed a certian tatoos on the man, it gives you something more to work with. Before we release them we verify their identity through the machine by placing both thumbs on the scanner. It comes back who they are and all their info just off of a fingerprint nothing else, it then tells us if they are free to go or on hold for another reason. It even gives you the "fingerprint score" if the score is low enough, we verify them manually. They system rocks. If we did not have it many people would walk out of there after giving us fake names which would not turn up a warrant.

You say that his wife is nothing to talk about, would you have said the same about hilary? When Bill was first elected did you even think that one day hilary was going to be elected a senator? You know if he is elected she will try as hard as she can to get more power. With that in mind I think in this day and age, we need to take a look at presidential canidates wives as well. You don't just elect the president, you get the package deal.

1. She can get your number from the phone company, by saying that she received a harassing phone calls, by you and it will start from there. 2. Yes phone companies can triangulate cellphones, once they get close enough they start using frequency counters and signal strength meters to get close enough to tap you on the shoulder. Back when I was in high school we played hide and seek like that by using ham/cb radios. One person goes and hides a few miles away, and then transmits intermittent signals, while other people in vehicles try to find their location using above meters. Yea I know that is kinda redneck -
Ok here in Louisiana after the rash of serial killings(7 I think) DNA was the main evidence in the capture, and probable conviction of Derek Todd Lee. During the hunt for him the state started DNA swabbing every felony that came in to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Since that time over 30 cases(rapes ect.) have been cleared due to the DNA database that is being compiled. So the state has started swabbing for every felony, and misdemeanors by a case by case basis. The rule is you get arrested and come into EBRPPrison with a felony you get swabbed, or in the event of a misdemeanor, and the judge orders you to, you MUST be swabbed or you DO NOT get out of jail under ANY condition. Either you swabb or you sit there and rot, and when you die we take it anyways. Ok here is the meat and potatoes of my story. Last night I was working central booking and a young male was brought in on a felony. So we print him and get all his paperwork in order and advised him that under law we has to swabbed you do you agree to be swabbed, and he said no. We then advised him further that if he does not get swabbed he will never leave the prision, and he said he does not want his DNA on file. He stated he has never committed any crime other than drug charges. This struck me odd, as to why wouldn't you want your DNA on file if you never committed or plan on committing a crime in the future that would be convictable by DNA. I feel that if your not a criminal why worry about having it on file. Me personally you can have my spit what ever helps the cause. So do any of you have problems with DNA on file, or giving up your DNA on request?

It's ok I know what he was getting at, and I am Conservative Republican so it doesn't bother me.
