  1. Agreed. I can't imagine anything posted by a whuffo, low time jumper, or just somebody chatting about things they know nothing about ever being of consequence, (hurting or helping) a plantiff or defendant. Inaccurate information should be easily discovered and dismissed by demonstrating the posters lack of expertise and/or getting a true expert's input. Would any court really let a completely anonymous post sway a decision, without knowing who wrote it or what their credentials are? If so, I'm going to write a post that says Skyride is illegal and needs to be shut down. Should have a major impact on future legal proceeedings right? 2. Knew before my tandem landed I was all in. I was so into it, but so calm that my TM asked if I was OK. I was just taking it in and thinking, definitely, this is me. Had kind of a next level awareness leap on jump #40. Distinctly remember it as the first jump where I was able to completely relax, absorb it all in real time, see and understand the adjustments and results from exit to landing, and recall all details afterward. It was just a 2-way from a Cessna, but with a real cool coach (John Berger). First points on the hill to boot. I use that when jumping with new people to guage where they are at. How much do they seem to be taking in real time, and how much detail can they recall accurately shortly after landing. I detect the real veterans doing same for me. 3. I think they are more like dreaming - a sort of out-of-body experience. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  4. Can't decide which I enjoyed more; the humorous or serious responses. Maybe a poll is in order. What is your favorite flavor of SC banter? Humorous Serious " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  5. I thought he had some point to make at first; but they just keep making less sense all the time. Starting to read more like junk mail. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  6. Dude #04; but I'm willing to trade it for a bag of nachos. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley

You must have the wrong number. I spell my name D A N G E R. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  8. Time to move on. How about a pickle and a motorcycle? " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  9. Good idea, because this pile of garbage might as well be moved over to where the other garbage is. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  10. I suppose the OP feels this is another case of blind American justice. Now where is that seeing eye dog? " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  11. I'll bet I can out-sissy you. Mine's pnk, with kittens, and is scented. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  12. You can not fall off the bottom of the Earth any more than you can fall off the top, . . . I think. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  13. Common sense is a misnomer. It implies a common understanding (as in everybody agrees) of what something is, or means, or does. Personal sense would be a more accurate label; because what we refer to as common sense is really every individuals personal perception of the way the world is based on their life experiences. For many simple things we do have general agreement about what is meant or what is going on - for example that the stars are humongous flaming balls of hydrogen. But some believe they are God's windows to the world. For someone that was raised with the later belief, the humongous flaming balls of hydrogen tidbit is definitely not common sense. Racism is another touchy one where one person's common sense (or a whole group's common sense) is another person's pariah. Bottom line is that common sense for every individual varies, as a result of, and is the distillation of, their lifetime accumulation of experience. Experience leads to perceptions which create beliefs which generate behaviors which yield results that are our new experience . . . . . We are all unique, just like everybody else. 14. Interesting poll results. Possible indicator of heavy X class representation. The tool of choice for the truly unpretentious is simply cash. They do not give a shit about airline miles, bonus points, or that end of the year report that tells you where you spent every last fucking dime. The uppers of course use none of the above. They have people that handle that kind of trivial nonsense for them so they can focus on sex orgies and their Illuminati membership. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  15. It's all just marketing BS for thosae that like to put on for others. Gold card, platinum card, clear card, black card. It's the constant chase for superficial cool. The target keeps shifting, by design, so that (in the approximate words of The Onion), you have to get the next really cool piece of fucking shit so everybody doesn't think you are a fucking toothless hillbilly living in a fucking cardboard shack. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  16. Anyone who meets on a regular basis to watch the Chargers play baseball is an imbecile. I thought I read somewhere they could correct that at birth these days. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  17. I know a good amount about some things, a little about a lot, and nothing about others. That has nothing to do with being good at sniffing out pure BS. As to your general statement about being dead wrong so often; if you are lumping me in that; please be specific. Tell me how often and on exactly what topics I am dead wrong versus those on which I got it right. Give me a nice round figure. What percent of the time am I "dead wrong?" That kind of general and negative character judgement is a typical obfucating tactic of the CT crowd. I will not make such a statement about you; but I will call BS on a specific belief if you insist on using National Enquirer type headlines as a means of calling into question findings that are very well understood. The CT BS surrounding the collapse of those buildings has been so incredibly and thoroughly debunked over and over and over. Why are you attracted to them? " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  18. Where'd you get that definition. Never have I seen a definition, or met anyone who considers one, that assumes violence to be necessary for a person to be an extremist. In fact, my Webster's says it is someone who goes to extreme's, OR someone who holds extreme views. Violence is not required to be an extremist. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  19. Come up with something besides a National Enquirer headline as the reason for doubting and I'll be there asking the questions with you. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  20. Very disappointing. Thought this was going to be about dancing, . . . and naked woman, . . . Not nice to tease. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  21. That picture makes it a lock. Ventura and Rodman, switched at birth. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  22. But is such a great CT talking point: Steel, glass, and concrete building reduced to rubble, but . . . PASSPORRTS SURVIVE! It must have been done by aliens. They mostly got pissed off because they couldn't get majority recognition for their crop circles. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  23. In other words, he did not actually understand the investigative reports or their findings at all. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  24. I'll take Burning Stack Of Jenga Blocks for $1000 Bob. " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
  25. Well, I did confess to not really knowing. My take on him is just from a few bites I've heard and other people's opinions. What I've heard and from others gives me an image of a Rush Limbaugh knock-off. Is he not as bad as that? " . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
