UPDATE (for anyone who was curious): Henry had his surgery yesterday. They didn't find any more polyps in him and they don't think the one big one they removed is cancerous. They did blood work on him but I'm not sure what the results of those were yet (I'm assuming they're ok since they operated on him - but I dunno). Anyway, he comes home Saturday and I think it's gonna work out just fine.

I certainly don't expect to be eating a 3 course meal on our first date, but maybe saying taco bell would be ok was a little.... not true. Although I like Taco Bell, I might not want to go on a second date.

Tonight is the 3rd annual "Monte Carlo Night" at Nancy Cartwright's house. She hosts it to raise money for the PALS organization - so everything at the event goes to charity. There is a huge Texas Hold 'Em tournament, which is the main event of the evening, and other stuff includes a silent auction for some cool stuff, and it's basicaally a huge party. This year guests are to include: John Travolta, Brad Garrett, Kirstie Alley, Camryn Manheim, Sinbad, Mickey Dolenz, Stefanie Schaeffer, Tom Kenny and many more. Poker pros include Jamie Gold, Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Men “The Master” Nguyen, Van Nguyen, Sammy Farha, Hoyt Corkins, Marco Traniello, Kenna James, Marsha Waggoner and Barbara Enright. Me and my husband were dealers for her in the first Monte Carlo Night, last year we couldn't make it, and this year we're playing in the tournament. Top 5 players get seats in WSOP tournaments. Last 2 years the first place got a seat in the Main Event, but they changed it up this year. Anyway, wish me luck! It's for charity so there are always a TON of donks at the tables who re-buy, add-on, etc - and there are a lot of people with a lot of money that go. But hey, it's fun. I'll try to snap some pics while I'm there.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and a popular disc jockey were critically injured in a Learjet crash in South Carolina that killed four people, authorities said Saturday. Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane went off a runway and crashed on a nearby road, she said. Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia. NBC News reported that Barker, who also starred in MTV reality show "Meet the Barkers", had performed Friday night at an event alongside Perry Farrell, the former Jane's Addiction singer, as well as Gavin DeGraw and Goldstein. 'Terrible and tragic' It was not clear whether Farrell and DeGraw were also traveling with Barker and Goldstein. Federal officials confirmed that two crew members and two passengers were killed in the crash. "It's absolutely terrible and tragic," Columbia Mayor Bob Coble said. Bergen said the Lear 60 was headed to Van Nuys, California. She was unable to confirm the names of those on board. Barker and Goldstein perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM. After Blink-182, Barker went on to form the rock band (+44) — pronounced "plus forty-four." He appeared in "Meet the Barkers" with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, to whom he was married at the time.
