Lucky... Jumps License In sport : : : Aug 21, 2006, 8:56 AM Post #23 of 31 (353 views) Registered: Mar 5, 2006 Posts: 893 ? It should be considered that it was not gear, but a physical limitation that kept him from pulling-I've heard of dislocated shoulders get in the way of pulls before...might help explain some spinning? Of course it doesn't explain a lack of reserve deployment. Was he known to have any shoulder problems or other physical/mental impairments? Could it have been a Stroke? Seizure? M.I.? bsbd. .

Aside from all of that, the Dell monitors have WAY more option inputs. Try hooking your 30" Cinema Display up as a TV, or running your raw footage straight to it...can't do it. Besides...for the money, if you MUST have the Apple displays, get 2-20"s or 2-23"s...way better deal. I must admit though that the LOOK and quality of the Apple displays kicks ass-- But I'm getting Dells most likely. Which also pains me (for now). cp

Need to Contact Mario R. at Atmosphair in Quebec. Anyone that could point him my way through http://www.triaxproductions.com would be considered a saint in some obscure religions. Thanks! pope

Of course it could be--and was taken out of context--but I just thought it was kinda funny that they ACTUALLY SAID something so blatantly ridiculous. If you didn't hear the beginning of the newscast, then that's all you got! cp

According to this study conducted by "experts," "Men have a 23% higher chance of dying than women." Now, I'm not too good at math, but that figure seems just a tad bit high to me... (source: 9news Denver) pope

You should try looking up Eric Ryde. I think he's in that area now and would make a hell of a great photograph if you can manage it! good luck. pope

Yes, Micke, Martin, and Per did an excellent job with this DVD! For those that have missed it, the trailer for this DVD is now available via the link at the bottom of the page! enjoy! pope

Keep it all in until you're ready to kill your rotation, and try to kill it when you're *just* past head down, SMOOTHLY AND SLOWLY. I'd also have a bunch of WS BASE jumps before you try it from a cliff. And if it's a PRODIGY, just do it like you normally would. pope

I think with the right training and an SOS system you would be fine. Talk to some local DZs. good luck! pope

7/30/06: civilian plane crash kills CO skydiver + 1 (not skydiving related)
pope replied to pope's topic in The Bonfire
http://9news.com/acm_news.aspx?OSGNAME=KUSA&IKOBJECTID=c11aa770-0abe-421a-00ee-f74003100029&TEMPLATEID=0c76dce6-ac1f-02d8-0047-c589c01ca7bf some facts: crash NOT skydiving related AFAIK. Rollins pass, Colorado. Single engine Citabria (not a Cessna as reported). 2 dead. Plane registered to Coe H. (also a skydiver), but he has sold plane and new owners were not on board either. Name not released AFAIK. Cause of crash undetermined at this time. Both occupants were pilots and I don't know who was PIC. Skydiver killed was a great person with a lot of good energy, and she will be missed. BSBD. cp -
