What is the drinking and driving age where you live?

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! You fellas were environmentalists. -
Freedom OF religion means freedom FROM religion
Andrewwhyte replied to funjumper101's topic in Speakers Corner
I think religion should be "Don't ask, don't tell" in all government workplaces. This includes the military. -
No, but he had the sense to know when to get out. As he is still in office I think passing judgment on his career is a tad premature.

Hey, I've been to Point Barrow. If the pathetic bleating I heard from all the Texans and Okies is typical you will never get anyone up there in the high Arctic where it actually gets cold.

Do you think it was more realistic during his time? As I recall the story ended rather violently (ya, ya, I know Christians don't believe the story ended there). All the apostles except John were murdered. I don't think claiming that the situation today is different is a fair out.

The National paper started being delivered daily about 3 months ago unsolicited. I enjoyed reading it every day. It stopped last week. I am still pondering whether I want to call them and subscribe or not. I could see subscribing on line if I buy an iPad any time soon.

does the name of the new Mac product bother you ?
Andrewwhyte replied to piisfish's topic in The Bonfire
I disagree. They will, just by people younger than me. I thought texting was dumb (still do) but am forced to accept that if I want to communicate with anyone under 30 I'll have to text them. -
Canucks comments included the phrase, "At today's production levels." The oil sands have a known net energy quotient that is subject to improvement with technology. Recent technological improvements have led to early development work on the Saskatchewan oil sands, which have a lower net energy quotient (they are deeper). They are reputed to be larger than Alberta's

Does he have samples? I didn't think so.

Personally I can see never buying another lap-top. Have a desk-top at home and an ipad elsewhere. Really when I think about it there is not much I use my computor for outside the home that the pad won't do. A couple of things so like Frenchy says wait for the second or third gen. I still like paper books. -
HUH? You really need to spend some time with your pacifist Christian brothers if you want to understand them. The Mennonites, Hutterites and Quakers do not believe in peace when it is convenient. They all come from traditions of persecution and pogrom.

AH-nold was involved in politics for twenty years before he ran. He also showed himself to be successful at more than acting. Planet Hollywood was very successful before he sold his shares. He also did well in his weightlifting career.

Bill Dause is under the chopping block!!

Do you have a link to the decision? -
Without having watched it my money is on them blaming Bush.

Interesting logic. Isn't the direction the current population wants more important than some dead guys' vision two hundred and thirty years ago?

Got a spot for your trailer picked out right here in Alberta (Westlock). Come help us install western Canada's first pond.

You know John I still don't think it's a great idea for a bunch of broke, naked guys to be running around with swords. Think of the children.

This seems to indicate that removing one hazard increases the probability of another. It is simply false. Removing one hazard makes the road safer. It does nothing to address other hazards, but it actually reduces the chance of encountering a bad driver during your trip. A similar argument to yours would indicate that putting a fireproof roof on your house increases the chance of it collapsing due to an earthquake. Nonsense.

Anyone covered by the new EPA lead RRP rules?
Andrewwhyte replied to wayneflorida's topic in Speakers Corner
I read a story a couple of years ago about similar rules coming into effect in Canada. Several body shop owners were quoted as saying they were retiring rather than change as they believed the profit will be squeezed out of the industry due to higher operating costs. I haven't had any repair work done since then so I have no idea whether the prediction was accurate or not. -
I thought our oil sands were the anti-Christ. That's what Al Gore says anyhow.

Get your tandem rating; I can hook you up. edited to add: May is perfect. You can use your severance to subsidize your income. Plan on getting a new job in mid October.

A couple of provinces have up here. It will spread across the board soon. The new concern is people fucking with their GPS instead of watching the road.

I think we will find that ban spreading to all drivers quite soon. I believe that is a state's issue in the US but it will come.
