CII was presented to our community today. So... Here is just the community opinion. Anyways each of us got his own impressions and likes different sequences from that movie. The movie is ok. Some footages are awesome. Editing is cool. The sountracks fit to video really good. But that movie contains too much "speaking heads". Some of scenes with the jumper's strories are too long. Personally i like the part of CII with mexican jumps. The video effects they used with the footage of cave-jump (camera on helmet) made the visuals unreal. Hm... it's one of the most pshyhodelic base videos i've ever seen! Respect

I made a stupid mistake May be later i'll attach some pics of it. I made 50+ slider-off jumps with WLO risers-toggles. The pins were damaged because of the hard slider-off opening. Now they are slightly curved and have some scratches Scratched pins are cutting my slider-down brakes. The only way to fix it is to replace the lower control lines ans buy another pair of toggles... and to buy regular risers for slider-off jumps. Don't be as stupid as i was. Thank you Truckerbase for the full and usefull information. Is there any good methods to check if AM-antenna is working or not? One AM-antennas complex i knew has 6 antennas. One in the center of the field and 5 other around it connetcted with the central one by the wires wide on the top. Every antenna stand on an isolator. There is a metall 'ball' on the metal standing directly near the antenna' foot and another 'ball' attacher to the antenna' body a little bit over the top of isolator. It's the distance like several cantimeters bethween the 'balls'. I was told there should be 'electric flash' if you put some metal stuff bethween the 'balls' on the active antenna. Is it right?

He-he... My first "cutaway" was on the jump#64. It was a first "big way" i joined to. It was so impressive to see other jumper around me! So... I fu(ked up the altitude. I pull on approx. 700 meters. Got the PC hesistation... Scared a lot... Waited for ~4 sec...Made the wrong decigion to release my reserve first without cutaway.... But it was intensive training before and i pull cutaway handle thinking that it was reserve handle

It's funny. One of my jumping friends ask me to check his pins/bridle/risers every jump. First he make gear check himself and then ask me to do it. He also think that two pairs of eyes and hands are better than one. But I always answer "no, thanks" than he ask if i need the gear check too. I have just one reason to do it this way. Every jumper has his own packing method. It may be the same as the another jumpers methods or has a little difference. Than i already geared up i can't see what he's doing with my pins for example. And i prefer to leave my gear that condition i saw it than i made gearcheck myself. Between two evils always pick theone never tried

Hi. I don't think you would identify malfunctions looking to the colors of the cells. But iti's easier to pack than your canopy has the central cell of different color. I think you should to figure out what kind of jumps would be your "regular". If you prefer to jump for filming it 'd be better to choice the flo colors. If you're hoping to make a lot of "crime" jumps -- choice the dark colors. Dark colors are more usefull than the object you jumped of is "easy to burn" and jumpable in the night or if it has the shitty landing. My canopy is flo-yellow. Most of the object i've jumped located in "industrial zones" -- factory chimneys or B's under constructions. So, my canopy is dirty. It will be camoflage very soon.
