Everyone here should know I'd be one of the first to denounce anyone giving aid and comfort, but I have to agree with bill on this one. Insurgents are going to attack with or without the camera present. The frog didn't cause the attacks. I take exception to the "rioting crowds" footage we always see, though. I watched on episode in DC. People milling about waiting for the crew to set up. Then the organizer uses the megaphone and the all start jumping and shouting. Camera shuts off and they all go back to whatever. You know, I stopped using the opt out long ago because I figured it was increasing my spam rate. Yep. Nope. Spam costs business billions a year. Spam is anything but "free speech" in any sense of the phrase. I'm glad cost isn't much of a factor in constitutional law. I'm leaning towards Gawain and lawrocket having a point. I think it is enough of an issue that it will go through the appeals process, but I don't think the law [once it is one] will be overturned. Even if you two are right, how many times have you seen rulings based on what the judge thought was right and then rationalized in law, rather than the law itself? The OICW is probably the ugliest weapon I've ever seen in my life. But then does anyone remember what the first gen night vision scopes looked like? Now I can toss one on in front of my standard scope when ever I feel the urge and I barely feel a difference. That airburst round scares the crap out of me though. Technology versus marksmanship.
