My understanding is that if you want a serious treatment while you're still among the living, travelling to the US and paying for it is a common option for those who can afford it. You could have just said you're a poster child for democrats, without the trial lawyer thing... but wait, aren't you studying law? Somebody double check me on this, but I recall two things in the UCMJ that basically forbid gays in the military - sodomy, and conduct unbecoming. The president can't change the UCMJ on his own, and until those two things are not in it, what can he do? You left out that he'd only appoint anti-gun judges to the courts. I seem to recall Jeff Cooper expressing similar statements once upon a time. He wondered aloud if it might not be our civic duty to provide them with ammuntion. Requiring them to be kept in a safe (or with any other conditions) is not liberty. Kev was refering (I imagine) to people being free to do as they choose, rather than reverting to the partial freedom you had in the 1990s. You just made a very good case against gun control. Not only are most people not the perpetrators committing crimes, they are not even involved on the victimization side. So, by that logic, why should we deny them guns, if they are not going to commit crimes, or have crimes committed against them? (NCCAM = National Center for Complimetary and Alternative Medicines) (NIH = National Institutes of Health) These are the people to ask. And they said it's basically useless. A nice placebo for people who don't really have depression, but no effects for any documental conditions.
