Micheal Connelly (Harry Bosch murder mystery novels) and W.E.B. Griffin (Military novels) are my two favorite authors (Currently, as this changes once I have read everything an author has out and find a new one worth reading) Also Robert Ludlum, but sometimes he seems contrived. I suggest going to the clearance rack and buying the 4-5 dollar hardcovers. That is how I found Connelly. You cannot go wrong there and your buck will go farther and you tend to find new authors that way.

Which landing was that? The one where I slid in the mud? Or the one where I slid on my ass? Or would it be that beautiful stand-up in the center of the X?

I must say I was afraid fo the Cessna if it had more than three people on it. I was afraid of being able to move about when jump run came without being in pain (I ain't limber). But we got four on there today (two of us chunka-chunka burning love and two long suckers. We filled the plane pretty damn good and when jump run came there was perfect co-ordination for all. I am no longer afraid of Cessna's. The exits were a freakin' blasts! Launched a perfect round on one and had a sweet view as the first one out for a diving three way on another. I looked up at the plane and tracked toward it to help close for the diving away toward me. The views was breathtaking! Chizazz turns 90 on the hill and we close the gap while the other guy, Ryan, dove out after. I wish I had film of this Point-Of-View. It was the best exit view I have ever had! Oh what a wonderful weekend!

I just started skydiving in October. My youngest child is 9 1/2. I made sure my insurance covered it (life and medical) but that was it. Other than that, I just do it. Like you my kids are growing up thinking skydiving is normal. Two of them want to do it when they are old enough. My 16 year old is not to terribly interested she may or may not try it, but my 11 year old daughter and my 9 year son have the fire in their eyes. I will definitely help them out when the time comes (financially). If I get AFF/I rated by then I will not be teaching them. Just like I do not teach them to drive myself. I will definitely encourage them to try it.

Hey cocheese, I love my solos. Did two today. One I did just to fly my canopy, exit at 8500 pulled by 7500 and flew my canopy like the wind. (At least as much as I can at my skill level.) I thoroughly enjoy them. I do however enjoy flying with other people too. It all depends on the mood I am in. I like to do my first jump of the day as a solo. Gets me ready, psyched and aware. It also clears the prejump jitters for the rest of the day. It helps me relax. Sometimes if I do four or more jumps that day, I like to end the day on a solo on the sunset load just to relax and enjoy God's creation. See things from His viewpoint (at least as close as I can physically get for now.) Love solos, love em love em love em.

Had a blast at SGC. Thanks guys for a great day. 3 jumps from a 182 making my 182 total 4. First jump was a hop&pop from 8500. I had a blast flying my Hornet 230 from up there. The wind was almost non-existent so I did not have to fight any winds. Man what a hoot! Second one was a solo and the third was a two way. Phreezone will tell you I fall like a bowling ball! And he did not believe me. Guess we know what I need to work on! It felt so good to be back up in the Air. Jumped my G3, Havoc and Neptune all for the first time. I loved all of them! Oh the smell of the air up there is so much sweeter! Life is Good. Thnk you Lord for the wonderful skies and great temps in Ohio. Come out and join the fun tomorrow! What a great day it has been. I am so stoked right now. Hopefully I can make it out there tomorrow and get three more in! Four would be even better. Blue Skies!

My most favorite Aunt and Uncle are Jews. I love them. I love thier Jewishness (for lack of a better word) My Chritian faith stems from Judaism, from a saviour who was Jewish and I practice many parts of the Jewish faith because of my love for Isreal. I am glad I was able to help answer your question. At least for once I had something to offer someone here rather than stupid sarcasm.

Michele, It is because people see the jews as killing Christ. The kind of person who gets anti-semitic over this is the person who forgets four very important concepts (or is too dumb to know) 1. Christ was a Jew. (KKK and Neo-Nazi's always miss this one) 2. Romans drove the nails though Him. 3. If any one of us had been in the crowd we would have done the same thing. 4. And perhaps the most important, Christ GAVE His life. No man took it from Him. He counted it a JOY to suffer on the cross to reconcile us to Himself. But because people do not understand these concepts, they see things like the Jews yelling for christs death and beating him and they get all pissed off because they are so filled with hate and always looking for someone to aim it at. This is why many fear that the movie will breed anti-semitism. I for one do not think it will. Those that allow their minds to fill with anti-semitism I would venture to guess, already harbor it in their hearts.
