I have two words for you 'hair brush'. Make your cat perform for a 1-2 minute brushing once or twice a day. Well, since it's almost over, and there were so few involved to rat each other out, I guess it's OK for me to ask... Sponge bath. They don't mind if you use a wet cloth, and use the same action as a mama cat giving a kitten a bath. Might take a few cycles, but works well, no cat trauma, no human blood lost.
