    Hi Ken, I am of the opinion that this country was founded upon the rights of the individual. Not anything else. IMO the courts have pushed this definition too far. We now have a country in which one is virtually never responsible for what they do. The dipstick who killed Harvey Milk ( because Harvey was different ) tried to blame it on Twinkees.     Hi Bill, Have to disagree. I believe it was 1972 when Henry Kissinger walked out of the facility where the Paris Peace Accords were being held & announced that they had developed a peace plan. It was everything that the north wanted in 1968. Nixon waited 4 yrs, only to use it as a chip in his re-election effort. The one thing I truly hold against Nixon is this: He let a lot of people ( on both sides ) die just so he could use 'Peace at last,' as a re-election issue. Jerry Baumchen

    Hi John, Re: he looks much older in this picture. Anyone can find a photo of anyone else where they do not look their best. I'm 2 yrs older than Biden. I 'think' I look pretty good for my age; below is a photo taken in '08. Yes, I know that was a few yrs ago & I have changed some. Now, given that, I simply cannot spend 8 hrs digging any ditches anymore. It is life. However, I doubt that the POTUS does any real manual labor these days. Somewhere in some archives ( I've seen it ) is a photo of Pres. Eisenhower carrying his own luggage into a hotel here in Portland while he was POTUS. Those days are gone. Jerry Baumchen
