Hi Joe, See Post #5. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Rob, Re: Just like "you cannot sue city hall" it was almost impossible to sue the Catholic Church in Quebec. Here, in the USA, they have found bankruptcy to get out of their responsibilities to their victims. Rotten bastards, Jerry Baumchen

Hi Rob, Good; except that you have them in reverse order. Capewell did not develop the 1 1/2 shots until well after the XBO came on the market. Prior to that a cutaway was a no-no. But, with Security's piggyback XBO, it was sort of necessary. In the mid-60's, a guy in BC was killed because he did not believe in cutaways. He jumped a XBO piggyback & just pulled the reserve when faced with a malfunction. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Ken, And, some people wonder why I want absolutely nothing to do with any religion. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Andy, There was the 'talk' about that; however, I never knew of it actually happening, like a lot of rumors back then. I'll stay with my premise that it was a cost advantage. Jerry Baumchen PS) Check your messages.

Hi Rob, Only speculation; but, IMO because the 1 1/2 shots became available & the OneShots were costly to make. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, Yes, Arnold made it popular: I'll be back - Wikipedia But, this guy made it happen: The unanimous vote by the Nashville Metropolitan Council took only a few minutes to restore Rep. Justin Jones to office Black lawmaker who was expelled reinstated to Tennessee seat (msn.com) How sweet it is. Jerry Baumchen

Hi John, This, a million times, this. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Larry, You might find one or two. But, I would not count on it. They were used from '64 ( when the XBO came out ) to about '67 by Security. By '67 ( I think ), Security switched to the Capewell 1 1/2 shots, as we called them. Good luck with your search, Jerry Baumchen PS) From the original Parachute Manual:

Hi Wendy, I also remember both. I do not share the argument that the errors made by both sides are equal. Deaths in both events could have been avoided if they had just not fought the authorities. Anybody who thinks that their guns are to protect themselves [ and/or their families ] from the gov't is a fool. Jerry Baumchen

Hi John, It seems that some people do not agree with Judge K: “The federal judge in the eastern district of Washington JUST granted our request to preserve access to Mifepristone pending the outcome of our case. My team is carefully reviewing both orders right now, and we will have more to say soon,” Rosenblum ( Oregon Attorney General ) said Competing rulings by Washington, Texas judges leave fate of abortion drug unclear in the Pacific Northwest - OPB Jerry Baumchen

Hi Joe, I have a good friend that I have known for 72 yrs. Back in the 60's, we were at a party & got to talking about sex, women, etc. He said, 'A stiff dick does not have a conscience.' IMO your comment on 'too much like other toys' is in the same vein. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, This is one very valid reason for not carrying a gun: McAnulty took steps to conceal his alleged crimes, including selling his BMW, crafting an alibi, changing his appearance and trying to hide a 9mm Glock semi-automatic handgun Portland man held without bail in fatal road-rage shooting of Tigard father on Oregon 18 - oregonlive.com IMO this is not a mental illness issue, it is an issue of someone who should not have a gun. The real problem is in finding out before he does something like this. I do not have the answer to that; other than banning self-carry. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Folks, I don't know if he is/was lazy or just stupid: ‘young girls make stuff up like this all the time,’ Umatilla police officer no longer works for city after negligence lawsuit - OPB Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, Well, he could follow in the footsteps of Abe Fortas: Fortas later resigned from the Court after a controversy involving his acceptance of $20,000 from financier Louis Wolfson while Wolfson was being investigated for insider trading. Abe Fortas - Wikipedia Jerry Baumchen

Hi John, Oh, just put the mouse in your left hand; you'll be fine. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Bill, Hopefully, the electorate(s) in each district will do the right thing: Should all three members be expelled, special elections will be held in the three districts encompassing Nashville, Knoxville and Memphis. Nothing would hold those members back from running again in those races. Tennessee House fails to expel second Dem over gun protest - POLITICO Jerry Baumchen

Hi Mark, According to my local tv news last nite, they were out in force yesterday. They just need to keep it up & not lose direction. * Jerry Baumchen * It's called voting the gun-nutz out of office.
