    Hi folks, It has been my opinion for some time: Kamala Harris Suffers Major Polling Blow (msn.com) The four who performed best, outpacing Biden by roughly 5 points, were U.S. Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Plus, I was just reading where Pelosi is working the background to remove Biden from the ticket. Should be an interesting convention.     Hi Joe, Just another opportunist; as if, they are not all the same. IMO JDV does not help Trump in the election. Nor did Harris in 2020; oh OK, maybe just a little bit. As I continue to say, this election will be decided by those 'undecided' voters in only a handful of states. Not by the voters in Oregon; that means you & me. I will still vote, as it is very important to me, but Oregon is a TrueBlue state. As are Washington & California. Now, let's get back to Who Will Replace Biden? Jerry Baumchen

I think Biden will have trouble with older voters, over 65 [ yes, that is a generalization ], they have watched their parents age, and they see themselves aging.     Hi Keith, Last nite I was thinking about Biden's presser; where he talked about all the primaries that he had won. If we [ all of us ] knew then what we know now, I doubt he would have won them like he did. Jerry Baumchen PS) I know that he is a long-time politician; but, when asked a question about his health, he just talks about what he has accomplished in last 3 1/2 yrs.     Hi Nigel, I will never forget an episode of THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JOHNNY CARSON, about 40 yrs ago. His guest was a notable academic, who had written a book called WHY JOHNNY CANNOT READ.     Hi Keith, Re: That doesn't appear to be the case. I can only say that the polls I've seen in the last two days show her beating Trump. Re: My thought process was Biden sounds as if he's determined to run. My thinking is that only the down-ballot people are the ones to stop him. IMO they are very worried that he will take them down with him. Re: Wes Moore wrote a book To the best of my knowledge, I have never read a book written by a politician; too self-serving IMO.
