Hi Wendy, Re: I chose not to date before the divorce My attorney told me, after the wife moved out, that I could date but NEVER bring anyone home. I was still in the house with both kids and he felt that could be used against me with unwanted ( meaning costly ) results. We were still in a battle regarding who my kids would live with. Hi Robert, Re: I would say Joe has a damn good chance of not only coming through on his promise to America, but exceeding it by a great deal. He probably would get there faster if the state of Oregon was not a complete clusterf**k. The governor has been one of the major problems, along with the Oregon Health Authority ( OHA). The governor keeps moving the goalposts and changing the rules. Then, the OHA decided to have people's medical providers give the shots. Then they decided that only they, the OHA could do it right. Change this, change that; reminds me of Abbot & Costello's Who's on First. After, an almost inhuman effort by my extremely determined daughter, I am now scheduled for my 1st shot this Friday, the 19th. Whew. Jerry Baumchen PS) For the duration of my thinking life, when I have considered the four levels of gov't: City, County, State, Federal - The state of Oregon is by far & wide, the worst. Well, at least they are consistent. OK, off of my soap box.

Hi Seth, I have no real idea on what your wife likes to watch. I thought it was great. Maybe give the next season a go & see what you think. Or move on, Jerry Baumchen

Hi Joe, Re: Don't you even know his middle initial? I noticed that he signs the Executive Orders as J. R. Biden Jr. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Wendy, Me on top of Mt. Hood, 1984: I wanted to do it before I got too old to do it. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Dr., Best reply to Ron yet. Some people simply fail to see the larger picture. Jerry Baumchen PS) I can still remember sitting in gas lines back in 1974.

Hi Pete' Re: Maybe this will be a replacement. One can always buy another/different aircraft. That's just money. IMO the real problem is with owners of the 750 being able to get new parts. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, I started this thread as I am against the death penalty. I, just now, have heard of this book & movie: 10 Rillington Place 10 Rillington Place - Wikipedia 'The majority of Fleischer's film centres on Christie's murder of his upstairs neighbour Beryl Evans and her baby in 1949, for which Beryl's husband Timothy was wrongly convicted and executed in March 1950.' ' The wrongful conviction of Timothy Evans is considered one of the great failings of British justice and a factor in the subsequent abolition of the death penalty for murder in the UK' Jerry Baumchen

Hi Bill, Re: If you haven't been in a utility control room you are missing out on seeing some incredible technology. I spent 30 yrs working for Bonneville Power Admin; been our control rooms many times. I had the Technical Contract Management responsibility for all of the consoles when we upgraded our control rooms. Fascinating to watch a control room in action. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Ron, Looks like your guy did not see it that way: The former president was frustrated with the meandering arguments. Trump was quite displeased with his impeachment defense team - POLITICO Jerry Baumchen

Hi Bill, Re: One reason for not running adjacent to existing pipelines is to decrease the chance of loss of delivery from both pipelines if there was some type of catastrophic incident - terrorism, earthquake, explosion, plane crash, etc. I'm much more familiar with the planning and design of electrical transmission lines and that is a major design consideration. This why, about 30 yrs ago, FERC ( I think it was them ) said no more double-circuit lines. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Nataly, Re: someone gets there education And paying attention in your English Composition class is also a learning process. Jerry Baumchen

Hi airdvr, This happened to me 20+ yrs ago. I wanted to re-finance to get much lower interest rates. At the time, the house was worth about $150K, and I was re-financing for about $15K-$20K balance. They req'd an appraisal; the lot alone was worth ~$45K. The lender said that they could do a 'drive-by appraisal.' * It cost me ~$400 for the 'appraisal.' Jerry Baumchen PS) * I'm sure you know what that is.

Hi Nataly, Re: Racism exists. White Privilege exists. Sexism exists. Saying otherwise is either stupid as fuck, or extremely disingenuous. You could not be more correct. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Wendy, What you mean 'getting?' Jerry Baumchen

Hi Wendy, Re: I really don't feel any older I used to have a t-shirt that said, 'I may get older, but I refuse to grow up.' Personifies my outlook on life. Jerry Baumchen PS) Back when I was still jumping, every now & then one of the females on the dz would say to me, 'You're a dirty old man.' My reply was always, 'I'm not old.'

Hi Keith, That's harsh; but, very close to the truth. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Lisa, IMO it was not a good Super Bowl; although the team I wanted to win did win. I do prefer a non-lopsided game. This one was way too lopsided for my tastes. Jerry Baumchen PS) Who is 'they.'

Hi Keith, I would prefer the waxed paper containers for the milk. Yup, we need to quit buying from China. Walmart is what destroyed American manufacturing; them and their customers. It would make almost every product a little more expensive; but, IMO well worth it. So what if you only have 6 pairs of shoes instead of 7? Jerry Baumchen

Hi Wendy, I had a cousin, the 4th & last child, of one of my aunts & uncles. Right after this cousin was born, his father died. The mother kept him in dresses & long curly hair until it was time to go into the 1st grade. Nobody in the family really talked about it. Jerry Baumchen
