And another nice, big, fat and slow softball crosses the plate. Batter up?
-
Um, it's something different for me. You save me from screwing the pooch. Thanks.
-
Holy crap, thanks. I would have missed it. Damn.

That, and hiring women. I've thought about this a lot from the perspective of someone who has built businesses and needed to have the best people available looking out for the company's interests. Of course, that means the interests of the owners and every other person dependent of the company's fortunes. My firm belief is that the majority of people who don't believe a woman can be the best person for the job haven't signed their own names on very many paychecks.

#5. Just being shitfaced drunk and riding around in the back from club to club, back seat driving all the way, telling the machine it's sucks at driving and WATCH THE FUCK OUT, GODDAMNIT!.
-
Bullshit. You're here to proselytize and, as you once posted, spread the good news of President Trump. That good news being who gives a rats ass if he's a philandering, narcissistic, self dealing, morally reprehensible, pathological liar and treasonous fool who is destroying the credibility of our nation tweet by ridiculous tweet and then off for some more golfing while China expands it's influence in the South China Sea at the expense of our national security because we're getting our judges in the courthouse and Jesus back in the schools. Totally worth it!

Yes, angry Christian. 8 words and a Hell and a Fucking to make your point. Dude, think about the millions who have set aside those old ideas to be welcomed into the loving embrace of rationality and proven truths. You already curse like an athiest, tell the truth, can you drink like one?

Wendy, I'm sorry but that's a crock. You can't know any of what you claim to doubt or reduce to probably's or might's. You wrote: "The fact that something bad to us has to happen for those things is the divide. How one focuses one’s analysis might be a reflection of how they view the topic." That could mean anything. No one is yanking his chain. He's angry, defensive and combative. Why? That's easy, he's holding an empty bag. He knows it and he knows he cannot give a millimeter or his entire blame us game will fall to pieces. So he rears up and snarls. Based on Coreece's posts, in particular the ones way back where he was lamenting that those who were most familiar to him, who were a part of so many of his great memories, but who were now vexing him I am convinced he is doubting his faith.

Thanks for that. I'm thinking it's a nice round number for retirement.
-
Has anyone yet observed your number of posts to reaction ratio? Someone should.
-
I think associating agreement here when there is a specific commonality amongst the participants and the issues tend to be both topical and personal puts it on a different level than FB which is totally stupid. Kill the react system entirely for all I care, but it exists now. yoink made a valid point. I thought about it awhile and decided it made sense, hence the new topic. I will admit that I totally loved getting bumped up from 98 atta boys to 99 by someone I've blocked. So the system isn't entirely without value.

I see that. Still, I'm not sure that folks who think a skydiving blog is a great place to look for an eye doctor or are interested in the "Three Problems Skydivers Face the Most" will pass the skydekker calling bullshit test.
-
Forum specific, I'd say. I'm not sure I see too many similarities between Bonfire and Speakers Corner, for example.
-
Recently yoink mentioned that reaction points (green merits) should be forum specific. I think that makes sense. Are there any valid reasons why not?

-
He is soliciting campaign donations for himself to be shared with 3 Senators that are at risk of defeat. And he is openly saying that's his intention. To wit, he is bribing the Senators for their support.

We need to be impeached for sitting on our fat asses and allowing the shit heads we elect to cancel our votes. In a sense we are Libtards. We doot-ti-doo along being sweet and going high when they go low and then are suddenly shocked, shocked that there is faithlessness going on. We are absolutely reaping what we have sown.
-
yoink is right again. It is time to quit pretending. It's time see things as they really are. And that includes stopping this let's all be civil and trust in each other horse shit. It's past time for the Senatorial rules of civility where every other Senator is referred to as "my friend" to end. McConnell is not your friend any more than Ted Bundy was someones friend. They are our enemies.

At what point does voting in government become illegal?
JoeWeber replied to yoink's topic in Speakers Corner
Shouldn't you be ice fishing for Pickerel and not meddling in foreign elections? This is another posit that does not need over parsing; yoink is absolutely right. The mirage of a representative democracy in America, as it is provided under our Constitution, is being exposed to be the dry patch of sand it truly is. We allow our elected representatives to value their value to us in their own reelection. And for the most part we do it without a whimper. At least half of our US Senators are paralyzed with fear over offending Dear Leader and losing his base in the coming election. So yes, yoink has it spot on. -
In fairness the Canadian 3rd Division did land at Juno, that I'm certain you know. But it still isn't enough to make up for Justin Bieber, not even adding in Leonard Cohen.
-
Who could have seen that coming? Damn "cheap natural gas and the plunging cost of solar, wind and other forms of renewable energy."
-
Depends on how you read it. I think Kallend was simply reminding us, and rightfully so, that you can't trust what you learn from and education professor.
-
Generous with my money, you are. Give up your tax exemptions and charitable deductions when the recipients are Christian Ministries and it'll all ring less false.

Gotta be Pence, no? I love how General Milley isn't even pretending to be watching the feed.
