  1. DJL, Jerry, Phil, I think you guy's are all missing the key point being made here. If Fukushima and 3 Mile Island were producing fossil fuels none of this would have happened. Capisce?
  2. Goddam it Ken, you've got some explaining to do!
  3. Of all of the bar lowering, childish, dog whistle, right wing and completely ridiculous analogies on offer you chose this one? Don't worry Brent, it doesn't say anything about you that was not already well known.
  4. The only saving grace will be that a lot of the ladies will be no safer than you. We're special that way.
  5. And it would just get worse from there. Just wait until the #metoo movement finds skydiving.
  6. Don't forget you would need to answer for what you've posted online.
  7. What's the we? Just because you're full of it don't mean I don't adore you.
  8. No Phil, you are wrong. Anthropologists need people to study and SC needs Ron as much as we need to hear a Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks album skipping. I might concede on Brent however but only for the comedic value.
  9. Honestly Brent, you're like Ron; you have no place else to go to be noticed. You need another hobby besides SC.
  10. Jerry Brother, you're not confusing this with mail order brides I hope.
  11. Got a letter just this morning It was postmarked Omaha It was typed and neatly written Offering me this better job Better job with higher wages Expenses paid and a car But I'm on TV here locally I can't quit, I'm a star
  12. Stress always creates opportunities and exposes divisions, it has ever been thus. For example, I've always marveled at those who've despaired over our complicated and byzantine tax codes. Yes, the IRS Codes totally suck and given the chance I would simplify it all in a heartbeat. But in the meantime, the harder it is to figure something out the better chance the figurers have to succeed. It is not a zero sum game. Right now I have a personally significant economic interest in the Skydiving biz. I see real opportunities ahead for those who survive so I'm hanging tough. But it will not be the same business, not by a long shot. Some will like it, some will not. Some, like me, don't have decades to like it or not. But with or without we SC denizens the party will happily go on in some fashion or another. Just the way it is.
  13. Um... if you subtract non, un, anti and whatsamatta-U Americans from the total there are a lot fewer who's.
  14. You got that right. I'm telling you only a complete idiot would spend a Million Bucks on a Cessna Caravan when Twin Beeches are just 30 Grand. I mean just look around, 98% of major DZ's fly Twin Beeches. Caravans are just rich kids toys and didn't that one in Georgia crash? Never gonna happen.

    covid-19

Possibly, but for now don't worry. It's not constant.
  16. Have you ever wondered, you know with you being so all knowing and right about everything, why your last job was tossing drogues at a now dead DZ?
  17. Brent Hutch, the Ghandi of Mifflin County, Pennsyltuckey.
  18. I suspect that's about doing 10 way exits.
  19. Right on Brent! And while we're at it let's empty the books from all libraries because we can use more hand ball courts.
  20. Is this really what the Odessa Police needs to bring to a bar fight? WT Holy F? Second Amendment military weapon toting morons go to a bar to support not supporting what most Americans support and the Police need to arrive in their Mad Max-mobile. Absolutely, this is certainly what the founders imagined.
  21. Can we simply concede defeat and call the forum Turtlespeeds Needs instead of Speakers Corner?
  22. Apparently he's an out of work jump pilot who said he'd take "any job you've got." He does have his mask and gloves on though.
  23. Spot on. Of course, just like normal times in Skydiving our living large, mad skilz, I gotta get mine going for it does not include worrying about the pilot. That too might need revisiting in the new normal.
