Agreed. So then shall we defund the Police and dissolve Police Unions, too?

You get an extra cookie tonight.

Recently I had a nurse do something similar to a blood draw that was absolutely pain free. There's a tricky thing where they put a tiny bit of air in the skin before the real needle. She said she thought bit pushed the nerves aside but who knows. It sure worked, though.

As ever we are going at it ass backwards. We need simple advantages conferred on those smart enough, or brave enough, to get a painless shot. Vaccine passports with the ability to board aircraft, dine out, take an Uber, go to the Opera. No, on second thought we should send those jabronis who wont get vaccinated to the Opera but you get my point.

I have 4X5000W LFP batteries on board. They are 2 years old. The new ones have been out for 6 months and are 5500W. It's happening.

Maybe these guy's who won't get vaxxed are just confused. Maybe they think we're all getting Brazilians.

No kidding. A guy who can't fined the shift key and cares not for the rules of grammar is now throwing inflection marks at style offenders. That's Rich.........

All I need to do is show up at the dealership and I'll get a new truck at 60% of sticker. And to everyone heading off to work this morning, thank you kindly for keeping the economy going.

"Olof takes the crown from me as the worst predictor on Speakers Corner." Is that really a bragging rights thing?

He totally understands. He is certainly not an idiot and I also don't think it's just non-stop trolling. Brent fancies himself as a cat and we as mice. Like all cats, they can be deadly serious but they also like to fuck with the mice now and then. The issue is that the whole climate change is BS, oil is good schtick has become a huge part of his identity. He gets to be a stand out player simply by virtue of never giving an inch. What he needs more than explanation after explanation is something else to do with his life other than be the clever contrarian. I'd give him a packer slot but I've already heard enough. What about you? He's got an MBA, I hear.

I love you, because you're made of meat.

I'm thinking it will ramp up fast after Phase Four owing to an unpredicted Black Electron Event. After 20% or so market penetration it will be a simple matter of odds that you can pull up behind or park next to another EV. Then you'll just need to push the Red button on your BillVon-o-tron device and Faraday some induced current from some old lady's VW into your Jag I-Pace's, now unlimited mileage, battery pack and you are off again. A major side benefit will be that soon all of the least aware and cell phone focused drivers will be out of juice and on the side of the road where they belong. It's the future, baby.

You don't have to wonder because if you are strapping on you are incapable of wondering. Either the NRA, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Facebook or your Duck Dynasty buddies have already 'splained that it's no longer just a God Given right but now also a Constitutional right to pack some heat. So, Parteeee.....

Really? So your Tesla short was based on your own proprietary research that showed the majors entering in a more substantial way? Please do share your data lest some here think that statement was unadulterated bullshit.

The wonderful thing about this post is it's you so there really isn't anything to unpack.

When I traded in my last F-150 during cash for clunkers it was awesome. The thing was so trashed I wouldn't drive it off the airport and made the sales guy come get it. I think I got a Ford $1000 credit, I financed it with Ford for another grand-and paid it off the next week-and got another $2500 for some bullshit reason. I was so opposed to the entire program, given that I needed a free new car like a sharp stick in the ear, that I didn't go in until the last minute when ethics don't matter. I was the last cash for clunkers deal in Oregon, I was told.
-
Now that is funny shit, yo.

You mean like Brent's Shale leases or fracking investments or wherever he has an economic interest in big oil? Seriously, he's like a mom who can not stop herself from defending her dumb shit kid. There must be a reason.
-
Man, you really need to think a little deeper. They are bribing me because they need me to buy one. I drive an F-150. The F-150 is the biggest selling truck in history. Do you honestly believe those double first geniuses at Ford haven't worked out why that is? Besides, it'll likely cost me 10 grand to clean my current truck just to trade it in. Hey, you think I'll get another credit?
-
I really want to not like it because, even as beat as my 2009 F-150 is, I don't need a Super Cab. But, $40K and less $7500 Federal and $2500 Oregon tax credits get me to $30K. Write a check at the dealership and then write it off that year and I have one for $16K. Sure seems that it was me they had in mind when they set this up.

As someone who has struggled mightily to screw up as much as possible and came from a family that didn't have money or education I never gave privilege a passing thought. It wasn't until someone came along and explained that I wasn't the F-up I seemed to be and gave me a chance, a lot of mentoring, and expressed confidence in me that I discovered I had a couple of interesting knacks. From then on everything started going easier. It has never been lost on me that without that help things may well have worked out very differently. I am keenly aware of how privileged I am.

Some folks just love denial.

You're an edger?

Well stated, thank you. Sadly, I fear the majority of those who would benefit from a close reading of your post view privilege as the simple, natural order of things not as something in need of recognition and understanding. Such efforts would be unnecessary expenses of time that could never yield them benefit in the here and now.
