Impromptu Mad Dash XCountry Road Trip - Lots of Pictures
JoeWeber replied to skybytch's topic in The Bonfire
Given that you can't be less of a skydiver perhaps there is another opportunity on offer. -
Relax. We're all hoping you're first to 1000 likes no matter how often you post everywhere.

So you reply with three more digs, a suggestion on a better way to live, and a cherry on top question about his intellectual integrity. Good boy.

I'm you and I don't bark that shit since I got me a firing pin. That reminds me that I don't have any ammo because of you.
-
That's a fact. Of course we're more inclined to violent defense.
-
It was a day and age when dueling was normalized, much like school shootings today.
-
Sorry, I was attempting to tone down my snarkiness. Apparently it's either on or off. My apologies.

It's hard not to conclude this is just one more, downstream effect of our far too liberal gun laws. No doubt some will hope I choke on my granola for spouting such heresy (BTW, my preference is Red Mill's 5 Grain) but when the aggregate of our laws allows, in fact encourages, more or less anyone to bring a firearm to an argument or to shop for groceries bad things are bound to happen. Like this guy. He was able to articulate the unarmed guy into an early grave with his power of persuasion. Apparently that's approved behavior under Texas law. So was when he shot a warning shot into the ground. He might also go free because when the soon to be dead guy attempted to grab the weapon it became a self defense situation for the armed guy. I think I have that right. What will it take for so many millions of Americans to finally grasp that our Second Amendment was never intended to cause a firearm free fo all with holstered weapons and assault style rifles carried openly and with impunity? Craziness.

And his Mom has a My Son is an Honor Sheriff bumper sticker, probably.
-
And just who is the nit-wit 4 star General Sheriff being interviewed on CNN? He sports more medals than Audie Murphy. Which one is that Red, White and Blue Ribbon on the top, the Distinguished Donut Cross? Is that really what we need in our cops? I think not.

It's because that sort of me-ishness that new rigs are like $10 Grand. You need to take some of your disruptor stock profits and. as the new Mod so aptly observed, get prices down the economy going.

And will be. They made it to an industrial building in Detroit with $4K from an ATM, I guess. Of course, being clever folks, they turned off their cell phones. Oh, please, please, please can I be the lawyer arguing they only did it it to save data?
-
I'm just hoping they turn up tomorrow at Mar-a-Lago.

I love this prosecutor for our latest school shooting insanity. She has totally expanded the area of offense taking and charges filed by recognizing that the affected parties count vastly more than those killed or wounded. That's exactly what we need. And now charges are filed against the parents. Sound like they deserve the heat. They must agree seeing as how they are now on the run. They are fucked. You're gonna grow up, you're gonna get old All that glitters don't turn to gold But until then just have your fun Boy, run, run, run, run, run"

Great idea. Who'll be first to sign up, you reckon? Cambodia or Cameroon?
-
Well, woop-de-doodle, they moved up the date by 4,499,000,000 years plus or minus. Keep on this one and let me know when I can laugh off a 30 year mortgage.
-
He's not projecting?

In Florida, you do. Layed off for not taking the jab is good enough, I'm informed. BTW, I am an "R'. I'm also a "D" an "I" and, most importantly, an "A".

Might be they're hoping for an unemployment payout per the Republican playbook. Endemic Covid isn't the new normal we were all hoping would happen. Nope. The new normal is the realization that there was never anything cohesive in our societal construct that overruled our basest natures.
-
Add me to the list, I guess. I hate Joe Biden. I hate his damn beady eyes. I hate his tired ass kind uncle schtick. I hate that he cannot navigate a set of stairs. I hate that he hasn't solved immigration, Covid and string theory. I hate that he can't do the Vulcan Mind Meld and give empathy, brevity and an understanding that guns don't load and defend themselves to certain posters on DZ.com. On the other hand I love that I never wake up wondering what new democracy killing, soul crushing, mind numbing stupidity he tweeted out at 4 AM whilst I was nightmaring peaceably. That much for me and me alone, in the pure winsorian sense, is enough.

"I certainly don't." That seems to be your baseline: you.
-
That's crazy. Did the Republican even try to answer?
