Disagree. There are too many variables, all unknown to us. The only thing we can know is that regardless of whatever heartfelt thing gets posted online it is possible that the new owners had every legal right.
-
Maybe they had a good lease but no money to hire lawyers to perfect their position. That would make the new owners motherfuckers. Maybe the lease was an at will situation and maybe giving tacit or temporary occupancy could have developed into an inability to make them leave later when they didn’t want to go. Maybe the lease had defects the new owners didn’t want to adopt. There are a lot of things, none of which I know.
-
You wouldn't. An observation that we hadn't seen the lease wasn't a request. The thing is that I'm a prisoner of what I know. In addition to owning a private airport I've also done a few subdivisions and a few partitions. I also lease farmland and water rights. So I know intimately that the devil is always in the details and that lessee's often have more emotional standing than legal standing. Maybe your new owner is a motherfucker who is forcing you off the airport with his check book. But it's also possible that your lease wasn't solid and that is just the sort thing that a buyer might see as an advantage.
-
Absolutely, but I haven't seen the lease, have you?
-
Property owners doing with their investments as they see fit does not make them motherfuckers. When it was for sale you should have made the buy. If you didn’t want the burdens or couldn’t find the money such is life.
-
That's it exactly. No hanging upside down and pretzel twisted in a hold, for me, doing the twin jobs of replacing an effluent hose and trying to figure out how I'm getting back out. Just jet ski's and yucks, all day.

I have, I sold it to the religion of skydiving and got a good price, I think.

Ya, sure, but skydiving and USPA is in the business of creating mom and pop stores next to big box stores. DZ's are not incompetent marketeers, as demonstrated by the sometimes heroes who arrive on seen to show us how it's done and then disappear. The issue is we do not have an unlimited market available. Start up DZ's, invariably with USPA assistance, pop up near established and growing DZ's. They undercut, discount etc., all good I guess, but that makes price increases and the consequent ability to pay staff more money difficult or impossible. So DZ's close. Those economic conditions also make it difficult to make expansion decisions based on a hoped for upjumper increase very difficult. It's vastly easier to make those decisions based on customers that reserve in advance with a deposit. In the world of shifting feuds and alliances that is skydiving taking on a million or two in debt to support our upjumper friends and hoping for the needed volume is a real risk. And yes, I do hold USPA to account for that reality.

And like toe jam when he's gone it'll be mission accomplished.
-
What sort of motherfucker issues were unacceptable? Impossible rent increases, hours of operation limitations? Is your information first hand?
-
Apparently not. Still, in the big scheme of things, considering the absurd impediments Trump and his lackeys gifted Biden at the start of his Presidency and the huge geopolitical challenges- not the least of which were a weakened NATO and the Ukraine war- he's done fairly well. In fact, I think it's unfair to twin the two implying they are equally bad. They are not and it's not even close.
-
I'm in no position to make an affirmative medical diagnosis. Given the many successes Biden has had to date as President I have no reason to doubt his mental acuity. I do think he's get's a cruel rap from folks like you because of his speech impediments. Which I think, given his ability to find work arounds, argue in favor of his mental acuity.
-
You mean Jerry's observation 33 years after Reagan's Presidency ended is equivalent to your claim made less than two years into Biden's presidency are equivalent? Good luck with that.
-
You also don't know if he has dementia, but you're happy to state it as fact. This confident unawareness you have is why, as I posted previously, your having a vote is a problem.
-
No kidding. Where'd that pearl come from? OAN?
-
Are there uniforms or is everyone sort of mirage like or what. I am seriously asking you to describe what you will be like, if you can.
-
Have you scheduled flights, they're a booger last minute these days? Or are you planning to arrive visa free, like being transported on Star Trek?
-
Clothes? Seems to me that’s a potential big draw. Well, unless everyone is as old as Ron the maybe hotel grade robes would be in order.
-
No doubt, but it's the behaving in that way I notice.

Excellent living as in not at the end of a dirt road up in the hills of BF Georgia? Or maybe bingo every night and everyone wins? Unlimited cake?

So were Bernardo Provenzano and Luciano Leggio. Interesting........

Democrats, Independents, anyone who would honestly undermine any democratic institution or process in the furtherance of Christian values. To be clear, I am not saying it makes them any worse than the hypocritical rest of us; we all have our agendas. I am not saying that Christians are inherently evil or even bad, not at all. What I am claiming is that if democracy falters or fails in America Christianity will be a cause. What I am saying is that complete belief in a supreme being whose apocalyptic return is nigh and hoped, and is considered to be the highest authority in the cosmos, is at direct odds with the fundamental precepts of democracy.

Alright, if you like, and fine by me. I suppose, then, that all Hindus who drive EV's hate Brent. But neither emotion sets or initial actions are forms of government. On the other hand being thrilled that we have an autocratic USSC fully flush with the effects of Christian intention and being in full support of an insurrectionist former President or anyone else who will force a Christianity based view of school prayer, abortion bans, Christianity based school curriculum down everyones throats, and being happy to accept minority rule in America if more Jesus is everywhere, especially the public square, is the consequence strikes me as sort of undemocratic.

Let’s just see how many vote for democracy.
