I don't see why, as it's not a truly mandatory modification. If it becomes an issue at other DZ's my G3 will end up in the garbage and I'll put my canopies into an Infinity or Wings instead as I've had it with Mirage after this and past dealings with them. Yeah, that's why I'm not doing it to my Mirage. That, and I think Mirage has jumped the gun and hasn't done enough research after what happened in Russia. It's still just an SB. I wonder if the UAW would allow a Volvo, Mazda, Jaguar, or Aston Martin to park in their lot? After all, they're all owned by Ford. Or how about a Benz, since it's owned by Daimler Chrysler? And you're right on about the Ford employee discount they give to employees on their brands. After my A-plan price and rebates I ended up getting just over 6K off of my $16000 vehicle, and I even got the extended warranty insanely cheap, too. I'm currently debating whether I want to get a Ford Escape to add more space since I get an even better deal on it. But if gas prices keep going up, that's out. I can get 400 miles out of a 12-gallon fill-up in my ZX-2.

It *should*, but may require an update if it does not have the drivers to natively support burning to a dual-layer device. Best bet os to hit the company's website and check out the specs for your version. What you're looking for is called a Supported Device List. However, if your software came bundled with the DVD drive you have now, it may be locked to that brand and may not work with a different drive.
