Luckily it was only an 8.2. When you start getting into the 9's is when major tectonic shift happens and can cause a tsunami quite easily. I believe the one that hit this past Christmas caused the wave because a section of ocean floor 30x600 miles sunk 30 inches. That's a big chunk of the planet to be tossing around like that. I love my Oakley's. My eyes are extremely light sensitive so I pretty much live in them. I gladly pay more for Oakleys because of their great optics.
