I used to be the guy who would pester people to try and get out and make a jump. But, after almost 5 years in the sport, and having seen some of the things I have, I no longer do that. If people find out I skydive and have questions I answer them and direct them to my DZ's website if they're interested. If they ask if it's safe, I tell them the truth, "You can do everything right and still die." Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Bridgette Liss used to tear shit up swooping under a Spectre. She placed in the top 10 in intermediate class a while back under one. Sean, if you were to walk onto my DZ, I would be the first one to welcome you with open arms and to crack a beer with you at Sunset. The distribution of the list is nothing against you, or anyone that is new to these forums and your participation on this site is highly valued. That having been said, stron friendships have been forged on this site with many members, including myself, travelling thousands of miles to meet with these friends in person. The list is a way for us to stay in touch and to make new friends even though we're not on the same DZ. You probably wouldn't want your number to be given to every skydiver in the country, I know I wouldn't and that some of the other list members wouldn't. Once you're a little more well known, then we can go from there. Unfortunately, we have had many trolls on the forums recently and we just don't want to get burned. EXACTLY! The inclusion of people and the distribution of the list is solely at my discretion. There are people on this site who have 100 posts who have amazing things to add to this forum and the topical forums. There are also people with 10x that number who contribute nothing to the community and are nothing more than a waste of good electrons.
