I used to be the guy who would pester people to try and get out and make a jump. But, after almost 5 years in the sport, and having seen some of the things I have, I no longer do that. If people find out I skydive and have questions I answer them and direct them to my DZ's website if they're interested. If they ask if it's safe, I tell them the truth, "You can do everything right and still die." Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Help me (hopefully) prove someone wrong
Kris replied to BBKid's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Bridgette Liss used to tear shit up swooping under a Spectre. She placed in the top 10 in intermediate class a while back under one. As for larger 7-cell canopies, I've seen a guy do some amazing things with a Diablo 170. It all comes down to the pilot. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

And John Denver. OOps, sorry, it's Kris posting about John Denver. No, this is what I was referring to about Denver. *I am so going to hell for this one* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

And part of biology is genetics. I've never had a problem with high altitude jumps. Also, if I know I'm going to do a high load like Mullins, then I don't smoke for a couple of hours beforehand just to be safe. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Hmmm....I don't remember that. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Christ! I can get a carton of Marlboro's for $23.50 here in Oklahoma City. I'll have to remember to stock up before I leave for Rantoul this weekend. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

No, the listmaster loves all of the lovely Floridian ladies. I had some things I had to finish up. Your lists will be in your PM's shortly.

Jessica, this isn't the dark ages of medicine anymore. They have blood tests for this now. A rabbit doesn't have to needlessly die just so you can find out if you're knocked up or not. *I am so fucking dead* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I still think that was a damn good idea. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Snow? SNOW?! Dammit, we couldn't afford snow! We had broken glass to walk on barefoot and we were DAMN GRATEFUL for it! Sheesh. Kids these days are too spoiled. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Sean, if you were to walk onto my DZ, I would be the first one to welcome you with open arms and to crack a beer with you at Sunset. The distribution of the list is nothing against you, or anyone that is new to these forums and your participation on this site is highly valued. That having been said, stron friendships have been forged on this site with many members, including myself, travelling thousands of miles to meet with these friends in person. The list is a way for us to stay in touch and to make new friends even though we're not on the same DZ. You probably wouldn't want your number to be given to every skydiver in the country, I know I wouldn't and that some of the other list members wouldn't. Once you're a little more well known, then we can go from there. Unfortunately, we have had many trolls on the forums recently and we just don't want to get burned. Either that, or I would be the first person and last to get to try a Vector with the new Plastic-spring reserve PC. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

EXACTLY! The inclusion of people and the distribution of the list is solely at my discretion. There are people on this site who have 100 posts who have amazing things to add to this forum and the topical forums. There are also people with 10x that number who contribute nothing to the community and are nothing more than a waste of good electrons. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Dave, we had to drop the standards in order to let you participate! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I fear the TeleZapper! Hang around, SB, you'll make it to Old Hand soon enough.
-
And the final rule I forgot to mention, you must be a DZ.com community member in tilted-standing. In other words, the privelige only goes out to "Old-Hand" status or higher. Sorry, folks, them's the rules. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Sure...if I want to be a crater in the landing area. I'm ready to leave my Stiletto 190 and go to a 170...not a 150. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

The AOT boogie is already marked on my calender. I'll stuff him in my trunk and bring him along. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
