1 (number of farm animals that showed up at the dz this weekend.....1 billy goat): 6: 1 So the goat just showed up....wandered in from the woods....Hmmmm.... There was also a tree frog that my kid found and a baby lizard....but I guess they don't qualify as farm animals.... Got to make 5 sit jumps....so that I now have a total of 7 (lol).....but on the last one, I was able to move about a bit and only got unstable once....AND when I did, I was able to recover without corking!!!!! Actually jumping with MOST farm animals is pretty well tolerated around here.....how the heck would ever pull off a 4-way otherwise. First of all....I'm not flaming you or anything....just wanting to make a point about subtleties. To say we are "tolerant" implies, to me, that we put up with something that is, at best, less than optimal. How would ya' feel if people said....."Scottbre? Yeah...well we tolerate him...." (I'm sure that plenty of people tolerate me, too....lol.) Anyway....people are people. We all have a lot more in common than many of us want to think....when ya' find yourself thinkin' bad stuff about someone, or feeling "tolerant," then it's time to go look in the mirror, imho. I went through a static line progression. It was really easy on the pocketbook, and I got to jump a LOT!!!!! I was also in graduate school when I started jumping. THEN....took out a little loan to buy inexpensive first gear and made about 400 or 500 jumps in my first couple years.....A little job on the side doesn't hurt.... Peas!
