Another rare time that I agree with Clay.... If they are so clueless that they say the things you stated, then f*** 'em. I don't know how severe the "political" issues are, but go with your conscience and teach the newbie freeflyers if you want. They'll appreciate it, and you'll be doing both your sport and your DZ a positive service. If they aren't good enough to attract enough students without strong-arming friendly "non-professional" teachers, then they wouldn't be in business long anyway. Justin My Homepage

Depends on the state I think. I know it is illegal where I live in Maryland. Actually, I'm happy that it isn't allowed, as it is too easy to abuse. There just isn't any need to be boozing up in the car. Just my $.02. Justin My Homepage

Here is my desktop at work. I have software that rotates the background image daily. It cycles through images of skydiving, scubadiving, hang gliding and a bunch of beautiful landscape scenes. People with JumpTrack might notice the minimized icon at the bottom of the screen. I'm saving the graphs for my website. I had to shrink the desktop from actual size of 1152x864 to 800x600 so it could be uploaded. Justin My Homepage

Speed Racer, Fredneck Brewing is pretty good. You will also be a lot closer to the DZ at Chambersburg. When you move, let me know. I have some homebrew equipment, and have been looking for a partner in crime for the brewing. Like many things, it is more fun when you don't do it alone. Unlike some other things, I'm willing to brew with other guys. Justin My Homepage

Good example. I bet Jessica never read any Madeleine L'Engle, either. That would help explain things. Geez! Justin My Homepage

Han would kick your ass if he heard that. Justin My Homepage

I hope we don't have the rebellion's pilots flying our jump planes. They are always crashing into things. Death stars, Imperial destroyers, etc. I bet a X-wing would be a quick ride to altitude, though.... Justin My Homepage

You could use those stupid little ewoks as skyballs, then let 'em bounce! Justin My Homepage

Sunshine, I'm not sure, but I guarantee it will be at least fine minutes before Ben. Justin My Homepage

If he is too slow in answering, you could be mine. My ears are DEFINITELY cold. Justin My Homepage

Mr. X, You be quiet. You're just jealous because you didn't make the cut at the last adult movie that was filmed at the DZ using skydivers as "talent" to work with the ladies. Maybe you'll have better luck next time. Justin My Homepage

Or what. Justin My Homepage

Damnit, I forgot. Sorry, Skreamer. I'll be sure never to mention that the skydiving goes on simultanously with the National Institutes of Health testing on the effects of ultraviolet light exposure on women's bodies. What would happen if people found out about all the naked women running around our dropzones? Better not let that secret out either! Justin My Homepage

Shut up, Skreamer. You know we are independently wealthy multimillionares. We all have at least 2 rigs and a personal rigger at the DZ so we jump back-to-back loads all day long. And if the DZ jump plane has a problem, we just jump from our private jets. Justin My Homepage

Alphons, Don't be giving out too much information. Next, you'll be asked for your phone number, your girlfriend's phone number and the next day you'll be out of town. Justin My Homepage

But I haven't been there! Point taken. I didn't know that.

I haven't seen boogies that require a B license, but night jumps do! Justin My Homepage

I thought you were talking about beer. I see that I was mistaken. Justin My Homepage

True, keg would be better, but that would cover my firsts for about... forever!

Hey, they said Corona, so Corona they got. I'd have been happier with a case of Guiness, but I doubt they'd have been pleased with it. When I continue my DZ tour, I'll be happy to buy beer. The hard part is finding the time to do it. The whole family thing keeps interfering. Ah well. I'd love to get down there to visit and jump. Some day.... Justin My Homepage

So far, 45 more than my wife wanted me to do. Justin My Homepage

Yeah. I have a friend that used to work for Visa. Same deal. It technically violated the merchant's agreement if they had a "credit card surcharge". The could have a standard price and have a cash discount, but that was sort of iffy too. My home DZ charges extra for using a credit card, so I don't use one. It would be my preference to charge everything, even if I had cash in my pocket. Charge it all, pay it off every month, and get my free perks. 2% back at Amazon, 1% back in free gasoline, 1% back at Toys R Us, whatever. I'm at the point now where a "regular" credit card that has no substantial benefit is a waste of time. I'm the person they hate, because I rack up the freebies without ever paying a dime in interest. But statistically, I'm the exception. I can understand why DZs don't want to hurt their already-small margins, but I wish it was the same for credit. Justin My Homepage

When I graduated AFF, I went and bought a case of Corona and brought it back to the DZ. The people looked at me like I was a Martian. Evidently they just tell everyone they owe beer, but almost nobody ever brought it in. The DZO saw me walking toward the fridge with it and said, "You know, you didn't REALLY have to do that." But I did, and it was good. Now I can drink other people's beer if they ever bring it in.... Justin My Homepage
