hmm... bout all I know is that jumping in japan is rediculously expensive.

it is somewhat typical, unfortunately. What does your fiance have to say? If he isn't standing up to his family about something as important to you as this, re-evaluating the wiseness of the marriage might be a good move at this time. Your religion is a part of you. He and his family need to understand that. Are you ok with kids being baptized catholic? (methodist religion recognizes catholic baptism, so no worries here) Are you ok with kids being raised catholic? Are you ok with being married in a catholic church/catholic ceremony? Those are probably the three biggest issues with the family. The wedding can simply be a ceremony without a mass. Its shorter, which is nice on your guests, and is permitted for a Catholic/Non Catholic marriage. If you do a mass, you can't take communion, which may be what is worrying your future in-laws (they may be concerned about what other catholics might think, etc...). If you don't have a mass, but just a reading or two, and the ceremony, that removes this issue. You can also have your methodist minister work with a catholic priest to come up with a ceremony that works for both of you, with dual officials.

I would say that geographically, the US is one of the most diverse... we have mountains and deserts, two oceans, and a wide range of climates from the sticky south to the dry death valley area. I LOVE travelling the US. Is it the best country in the world? I don't think there is a best country. Each country has its strong points and its weaknesses. There is no best, only difference, and difference is what makes life interesting. After all, what would be the point of travel if your destination was the same as your point of origin?

if you're not sure, you're agnostic. You can't prove it one way or another, you don't know. if you're sure, and that sureness is built on observation and your own logical deduction, rather than religions preaching or texts, you're deist.

if you are certain of the existance of a supreme being, you are not agnostic. agnostics will not commit to the existance or non-existance of a deity. they simply don't know. Deists, on the other hand, believe in the existance of a supreme being, yet deny "relevation" religions, religions that base their teachings on texts such as the bible. A deist believes that everything you need to know about God can be observed in the world around you, and can be discovered using your own logic.

LOL. it doesn't hurt THAT bad!

You can do your FJC, first jump, and level 2 in one day, if the light is still good. (more likely in summer). personally, I didn't want to do more than 2 levels per day, because the info was kind of overwhelming. so... 2 days minimum, if you do 2 jumps the first day, and 6 the next, but 6 is a lot of jumps for one day. don't rush it. enjoy it. and remember, most fail at least 1 level.

and this is why we do not have a true democracy. we have a republic, and a system of checks and balances that prevents a dictatorship (well, mostly )

personally, I'd redo the jump instead of going to the tunnel. the jump, even if you fail again, counts towards your A, gets you canopy experience, and hey, since you know you have to PULL and extend your legs, you might pass. I'd suggest paying for video, so you can see exactly what you're doing. it really helps. if you fail it again, definitely hit the tunnel, and bring someone with a vid camera.

yes, its a piercing. called a "nipple shield". its a barbell going straight through, attached to a decorative ring that surrounds the nipple.

I guess I'd be closer to a deist than anything...

cable's different. and recently they've been able to get away with more during prime-time. but not before 8 pm.

I'm not -certain- what it is -- Janet Jackson device

Like the others said, its a nipple shield. The initial piercing is usually done with a plain ring, and once its healed, it can be replaced with a barbell or a barbell/shield combo, like in the photo. not a good idea to put that on the piercing initially, as it makes cleaning difficult and can put stress on the piercing, making it reject. -
On saturday, the rig will be mine, and I will have the slider stops with me.
-
personally, I have them because they came with my rig.
-
at this point it isn't that big a deal, because I'll be paying off the balance next saturday, and it'll be mine anyway.

I learned how to sit last weekend. Its harder than it looks. I mostly got it on my second jump, but I had a great coach (thanks, Stan!). the coaching made it a lot easier.
