  2. I think its your body and your tat, so do whatever the heck you want!
  3. it is VERY easy to get from LAX to Elsinore via public transportation. 1. take the shuttle from the airport to the Green line. 2. Take the Green Line to the Norwalk Metrolink station 3. Take Metrolink to West Corona 4. Take the Lake Elsinore bus (206 CommuterLink)to Elsinore. It drops off at the Elsinore Outlets. The Metro 22 bus from the Lake Elsinore outlet center also goes to the city of Perris. To get to Skydive Elsinore, take the Elsinore City Bus number 7 from the outlet Center to the Albertson's shopping center on Mission Trail. Skydive Elsinore is a few blocks south along mission trail, and about 2 blocks west on Corydon.

  5. it depends on the person. in my case, Vicodin knocks me on my ass. If I have to take it, I don't drive, skydive, or do ANYTHING. in my brother's case, I've seen him pop two Vicodin and go out and play an awesome game of tennis or pitch a no-hitter. If he was a jumper, I wouldn't have a problem jumping with him if he was on Vicodin, because in his case, all it does is take away pain and doesn't impair function.
  6. I don't think a moral code has to be based on religion to be valid. I think even an Athiest can look at an action and realize that it is wrong, not because it hurts God, but because it hurts other humans. That's pretty much the basis of most moral codes. Don't do certain things because it hurts either yourself or other people. Personally, I've been able to make my own religious choices and have been able to explore many ways of life and moral codes. I'm grateful for the opportunity. I'm against laws that require people to conform to an extremely explicit moral code based upon one religion's ideas of what is right. Secular laws can be written quite simply. All one needs to ask is "does this action directly harm another human being?" If so, consider outlawing it. If not, leave the people to make their own choice, even if it may be a choice you consider wrong. If they're a friend or family member, by all means, talk to them about it, but don't outlaw their right to choose their own path. Sometimes we all have to stumble along on the wrong path before we find the right one. According to the Bible, humanity was given the gift of free will. Who are we to legislate that gift away?
  7. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=7439; that should answer your question. edit: BAH! ya beat me to it.
  8. Just looking at this abstractly, going to war for no reason looks by far to be the worst. The others are either personal issues or lies, and while people may feel decieved, they are not physically killed or injured. Going to war for no reason costs lives.
  9. If it was something I'd been taking regularly and was familiar with the effects (or lack thereof), I would evaluate the situation and make a decision. If it was a new painkiller, HECK NO!
  10. Let paypal know IMMEDIATELY. They can help arrange for a refund ONLY within 30 days.
  11. Last time I was at the auto club, they made me a door key for my car that looks like a credit card and fits in my wallet. Its saved my butt at least once, and they didn't charge me anything. If you're a triple-A member, go to the office and get one. If not, find a friend who's a triple-A member and have them get you one.
  12. I have a bright orange skydive elsinore logo on my rig, ya know...
  13. I did that. I was in a splint for two months. PLEASE. go to the doctor. Tell him what you did. Get a splint and wear it. I promise, it isn't going to get better til you take care of it. I've been there.
  14. haven't found one that fits that isn't almost as expensive as a new one.
  15. I have. It wasn't pleasant. But it was necessary. It was a beautiful animal, but it was preying on pets and stalking small children. Neighbors had seen it eyeing their kids, and Animal Control had been trying to put it down for some time. I had the opportunity to take it down, and I did. That morning, it killed my cat right on my front porch, and I went hunting for it that evening, never expecting to actually find it, and find it with someone else's cat in its mouth. It stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and just stared at me, about ten feet away. I never thought I'd throw knives for anything other than target practice, and I will admit that I felt more than a little sick when I wiped its blood off my knife, but I know that it was the right thing to do, or, instead of a cat, someone's toddler might've been next.
  16. ok... the debate is: right now, I need cordura knees, simply because my landings SUCK and I don't want to damage the suit. However, I'd like to be able to take the cordura off later, when I don't need it. IF the knees are nylon, the stitching to hold the cordura on will make a line in the nylon once the cordura is removed. If the knees are poly-cotton, it shouldn't be a problem, because cotton weaves will typically close up after you pull a seam out. If it doesn't look like I'd be able to remove the cordura, would I be better off not getting it? Is the poly-cotton going to rip if I land on my knees? How much will the cordura affect my fall rate? Also, how much will the larger grippers affect my fall rate, as opposed to the standard size ones?
  17. Bev suit. I don't want white. I crash land too much. It'd be brown and green before long.
  18. Rosa- on your jumpsuit, does the nylon on the front extend all the way down the leg, or stop above the knee? or does it stop below the knee? If it stops, what kind of fabric is the lower part of the leg made out of?
