    nah... the thing is... if the Malfoys were royalty, they'd have been shoving it in everyone's face for the entire series now. plus, Malfoy's a pure-blood. a "half blood prince" would have to be either mixed race or half wizzard, half muggle, I'd guess.

    Oh... She probably gave her hair to Locks of Love. www.locksoflove.org They take donated hair and make custom wigs for kids with cancer. Its a favorite charity of my friends and mine. Its very easy to donate, because it doesn't cost you anything, you just have to grow your hair out and then cut it.

    hehe... been there, read that too! Mercedes Lackey is one of my favorite authors, and she's got work posted there... so I read hers, and then figured I'd read the rest of it while I was at it. I check back every so often for the new stuff.

    I think the ONLY condition I'd put on gun ownership is that if they've ALREADY been tried and convicted of attacking someone with a deadly weapon, they've proven themselves untrustworthy with a gun and therefore probably shouldn't have one. anyone else? go buy whatever gun you want. the bad guys have them. why shouldn't we?

    as good a tool as this would be for doctors (you come in unconscious, it tells you who the patient is and that they're allergic to penicillian and sulfa) the potential for abuse is WAY too high and way to scary. No freakin way.

    I don't go to the library anymore. I've read straight through the entire fiction section from A-Z, and since they have no money, they never have any new books, and the ones they do manage to get are reference/nonfiction.

    Personally, I'd like to see a law that the draft cannot be implemented unless the white house has asked for and received a formal declaration of war.

    Its a good idea, but folks at the DZ already contributed in excess of $200 to pay for her medical care and housing. I'd feel bad asking for more.

    you have not. what you have done is supplied "Lucy exists" as the best possible hypothesis in light of the situation. I certainly would fail to prove she does not exist.

    no. science does not equal faith. science is about disproof, which has nothing to do with faith. you can't prove something right scientifically. when you follow the scientific method, you attempt to disprove your hypothesis. if you can do so, you discard it and move on a bit wiser. if you cannot disprove it, the hypothesis stands to be challenged another day.

    if the insurance traces her license plate and gets a name... I'd be filing a lawsuit for the cost of my deductible, rental car, and medical bills.

    in science, its impossible to prove anything. you can only disprove.

    I thought of that... Its just that its $150.00 to have the vet send her to be cremated and her ashes returned.
