I was one of 2 low time jumpers on a 6 or 8 way when I had about 200 jumps. The other inexperienced jumper was just newly licensed. The RW went well and at break off I looked left and right and picked my lane to track. At pull time I looked up over my shoulder and saw the younger jumper about 50 feet directly above me. I had started to wave off as I looked above and he saw my wave. The poor guy looked like Wiley Coyote hitting the breaks before he slammed into a wall. I had no idea what to do but I found myself reacting none the less. I gave him a pull signal and tracked my ass off for a few more seconds, He was alert enough to grasp the problem and pull when I asked. It worked out well. I was really happy that it did. delete the uid.computername profile and rename the uid profile. log in as the user to recreate the uid profile. log off the user and back in as admin. go the the profiles tab in system properties and copy the renamed profile to the new uid profile. make sure you give the user permission to use it. Make a shrimp curry. Slice and fry the plantains in butter like you would slices of potato. Eat the curry over rice with the plantains on top along with green onions and chutney and toasted coconut. Sometimes I add chopped peanuts. Awesome. Owned by Remi #?

And I've made it pretty clear that training at home isn't an option. You can't just "go get" training here. It has to be organized in advance with a group scheduling a trip way out of town for the open water stuff. I asked for suggestions on places to train in Oahu, not whether or not I should get training somewhere else first. In that respect, yes, I have made up my mind. But that wasn't my question. Is it your opinion that the quailty of training in Oahu is bad enough that I should just skip the whole thing? That kind of suggestion is one I can understand. Owned by Remi #?

I'm not familiar with the other options for certification so I'll check them out. Thanks for the input. Most of the places around home charge about $300 for the training / pool dives plus the expense of travelling for a weekend to a quarry near Toledo for the open water part of the training. Most of the classes I've found in Oahu run around $400 for everything. That seems like a wash to me. Owned by Remi #?

Options for getting certified at home are really limited because I live in NE Ohio. I'm taking the vacation in Hawaii primarily to visit my brother and his family and they're going to be working during the week so I'm looking at getting certified as something to do while I'm filling in time. Until 2 years ago when I was 41 I'd always lived with someone, either a partner or a roomate. Now that I've lived alone for those 2 years the thought of sharing my space with another person almost makes my skin crawl. I love living alone. Owned by Remi #?

I was in Grenada a few years ago and would have recommened it for it's charm. I'd be careful about finding out how far they've come in repairing all that hurricane damage now, if I was planning another visit. I'm going to have to double check. The POPS site lists the record at 21 in 2001 at Greene County. Several of said dust covered participants in the attempt you filmed claim otherwise. Either it didn't get registered or the website is wrong. Owned by Remi #?
