  2. No, but Black and Decker is providing toaster ovens. You'll have to bring your own lube I guess. Owned by Remi #?
  3. 1) what altitude do you normally pull at and what your personal hard deck is (decision altitude at cutting away) 3000 and 1800 feet 2) when you had a mal(s) did you cut away higher, lower or at this decision altitude. if lower, did you actively raise your decision altitude Higher. I knew I couldn't fix it so there was no need to wait. 3)how many of you honestly havent thought about decision altitudes for a while and just think i'll deal with the mal when it happens- im sure there must be some. I regularly include remembering my decision altitude when I review my EPs. Owned by Remi #?
  4. Sure. My advise was that I didn't think your comment was applicable. She had 30 amp fuses in a 15 amp circuit and you were warning against putting 15 amp fuses in a 30 amp circuit. Owned by Remi #?
  5. You might have missed the part about the 30 amp fuses being in adapters. Owned by Remi #?
  6. How about maybe it doesn't seem stupid to him and he gets a little respect when he asks a question? Owned by Remi #?
  7. How about asking who's cutaway from a specific problem and what their experience level is? The problem would need to be something like a stuck toggle or a broken brake line that leaves options open. You could probably prove that less experience equals more cutaways under those circumstances. Owned by Remi #?
  8. You think people will tell you they had a cutaway because they were complacent? If it were to turn out that most cutaways happen between 100-200 jumps I would guess (and it would only be a guess without the data) that it was because a newer jumper would be more likely to cutaway from brake / toggle issues than ride something in on risers, etc. Anyway... my first chop was a jump 262 and it had nothing to do with being complacent. I had a brake fire and line twists at the same time. I was stable when I deployed, btw. Owned by Remi #?
  9. That's the one I was thinging of getting. I guess I'll watch this thread for more input, thanks! Owned by Remi #?

  14. How is it that you can be a freefall photographer and have no jumps? You might consider updating that profile again. Owned by Remi #?

  17. Do you have a CCO account with Cisco? If so, they have tons of video training, labs, etc. http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/PrepCenter?page=main http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le31/le46/learning_customer_e-learning_connection_tool_launch.html Owned by Remi #?

  19. Opinion from a CCIE: Boson is worthless braindump. Subnetting and OSI layers might help you pass a basic MS cert, but not Cisco. If you're serious get your hands on some gear via ebay, etc and play with it. Wring out anything you can and then read about anything else. Owned by Remi #?

  21. Hi Mark. I've flown my Sabre2 170 loaded at about 1:1 in a complete stall several times. After the initial uncomfortable feeling when the canopy folds (I thought it felt kind of like falling backwards in a chair) it's smooth and fun. The only problem I've ever had is raising the toggles back a little too quickly and unevely. That gave me several line twists but I was more than high enough to kick them out. I've never tried it below my hard deck in case I induce a mal. Owned by Remi #?
  22. I'd rather deal with the possibility of 2 out after a rare PCIT than worry about that flap snagging my lines on every deployment. No flap for me, thanks. Owned by Remi #?
