I hadn't heard anything about it until I saw this post. I went to see it tonight and loved it. There were a few minutes that seemed to drag along but over all I though it was a great movie. Worse than that is that I believe it would create a self-perpetuating kind of problem. The only reason it's even necessary to think about defining "normal" is that we place more value on the masculine boy and less on the feminine one, right? There isn't much reason for that because both boys can contribute to society. One might not be inclined to father children biologically but might desire to help raise children. They both have roles to fill. The only reason anyone would feel the need to tamper is the false value placed on masculinity. Let's say we decide that "x" amount of any hormone level is too little. We've just done nothing but shift the bell curve over a few generations. 100 years from now the boys at the left end of the bell curve will still be "fags". Now we have to raise the level of "x" that's acceptable... it never ends. Pretty soon the brow ridge is all the fashion again Owned by Remi #?

I understand what you're saying. It's just my opinion that the words "lacking" and "some" and "mild" in your scenerio have to be quantified to mean anything and that's a bad thing IMO. Men aren't the knuckle-dragging, hairy, uni-brow creatures they once were...do we really want to give people the option to turn that 180 degrees because they want to have the butchest boy on the block? I don't think it should be treated for any reason, but I'll try to answer your question more objectively than just my opinion. No, it shouldn't be treated at all because no one could ever come up with reasonable guidelines for normal masculinity. What one doctor or parent thinks is normal might differ from what another parent or doctor thinks. You'd end up with people trying to "tailor" their kids and/or with a body of legislation telling you what normal is and forcing you to follow it's guidelines. Sound good? Owned by Remi #?

I got these two google news alerts within a week or so apart. The real "Alabama" one came first and I blew it off. The second one is so badly edited it gave me a good laugh http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&tab=wn&ie=UTF-8&q=Raises+Alabama+Adventure+Bar&btnG=Search+News The original is an article on a cheesy web site used to create fauz "news reports" for self promotion. It's about a DZ in Alabama that probably doesn't really exist. The recent one is the same article with the location changed to PA except they forgot to edit out the "Alabama" part of the headline Those guys need to put down the pipes and go outside for a little fresh air, I think. That's sure the truth. I went into a closet to get a sweater this morning and realized that all the clothes hanging in there smell like smoke. I guess I'm going to have to wash all my clothes this weekend. That's a price I'm happy to pay. I'm also going to have a give my dog a bath. I quit Saturday night. I've been smoking 1-2 packs a day for over 30 years. It really does suck but it's the right thing to do. One of the tools I'm using to help get through the withdrawl is remembering a broken arm I had a long time ago. I would wake up in the morning wishing sooooo much that my arm would stop hurting but also knowing there wasn't jack I could do to make it better. I knew that my only option was to wait for it to heal. I know I could go pick up a pack of smokes and make this discomfort go away, but I keep trying to focus more on the idea that there isn't anything I can do but wait and with time it will feel better. Sometimes it works and sometimes I have to go to another tool... like taking a walk or a shower or drinking a big glass of water Good luck. We can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Owned by Remi #?

Under what circumstances would you have it initiate a cutaway? It cuts the reserve loop if you're at 750' and travelling too fast. You wouldn't want to cut-away below 1000 feet so you'd have to change the criteria for the Cypres fire, right? I'm curious to know what new criteria you might think would be an improvement? No, I don't. I'm keeping myself as sane as possible by trying to think of a good reason. The harder I think about it the more it sinks in that it sucks to smoke. I'm hoping this will get me through the next hour or so. If I take my dog for another walk she'll have a stroke. Owned by Remi #?

Is there a good reason to smoke a cigarette? I need to know that there isn't a good reason, actually.
